The Oklahoma high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 23 for classes A and B and Mar. 1 for classes 2A-6A, opening day for regular season action under OSSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Oklahoma Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Outlook: Despite losing their district starters along with their shortstop from a season ago, Enid is primed to be a force in 2026 with a talented squad that includes underclassmen that gained valuable experience in 2025. Offensively, they will be one of the most fundamentally sound teams in the state, well coached, and understand team offense from top to bottom. Much like a season ago, they'll continue to get better as the season goes and we anticipate will be a potent group with length in their lineup with the calendar turns to May. On the mound, expect them to attack opposing hitters as a group and the opportunity to have one of the more talented district tandems by year's end. Enid will be able to beat teams in a variety of ways in 2026, and we expect them to make a lot of noise - especially down the stretch.
