2026 3B/SS Bryce Russell has been a steady offensive catalyst for Adair County his entire career, mixing raw strength, athleticism, and production from the left side of the infield. The 5’10” 181 lb infielder turned in a strong overall line in 2025, batting .356 while collecting 37 hits, 43 runs scored, and 26 RBI, with 18 extra-base hits that consisted of 10 doubles and 8 home runs. Russell shows a confident and aggressive approach at the plate, working with intent to do damage while still maintaining discipline and awareness, evidenced by 16 walks and 14 stolen bases. The impact is powerful, backed by a near-100 mph max showcase exit velocity and pull-side carry out to 375 feet.
Athletically, Russell continues to check boxes across the board. A 2025 Senior Future Games standout, he runs a 6.77s 60 yard dash and flashes solid infield action with an 83 mph arm across the diamond, giving him the versatility to handle multiple positions. The swing is powered by uber quick hands (21.6 mph avg.), above-average bat speed (75.1 mph avg.), and strong rotational acceleration (17.1 g avg) that point to continued offensive upside. He’s also logged meaningful innings on the mound, working 33.0 frames this past spring with 27 punchouts, 12 walks and a 3.39 ERA, adding to his overall value as a two-way. With production, tools, advanced strength and defensive flexibility, Russell has firmly established himself as one of the most high-follow uncommitted name in the 2026 class as the spring approaches.
