2026 OF Brooks Hendrix continues to be one of the most productive bats in the state, turning in a video-game type spring and setting the tone at the top of the Highlands lineup. The left-handed bat piled up 52 hits with 42 runs scored, 17 doubles, and 21 stolen bases, all while striking out just three times in 90 at-bats. The 6'0" 168 lb lefty finished top-five statewide in both hits and doubles. The approach is advanced and controlled, allowing him to consistently find barrels and use the entire field, which shows up in an impressive .578 average and .789 slugging percentage.

Hendrix has been up to 96.8 mph exit velocity with pull-side carry to 373 feet, pairs it with above-average speed as showcased by a blazing 6.53 60 time, and shows a strong arm at 86 mph from the outfield. A 2025 Senior Future Games standout for Team Midwest, Hendrix blends elite contact ability with speed, athleticism, and strength, making him a high-follow uncommitted outfielder in the 2026 class as the spring rolls on.
