On March 14th, the Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff hosted the Madison Rising Stars ID at GRB Academy in Windsor, WI. Nearly 40 players participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff.

+ C Hayden Jones (DeForest, 2030) is a physical backstop that has performed in front of our staff across the tournament circuit. Standing at 6-foot-1, 190-pounds the right-handed hitter swings with intent to do damage, working on top of the baseball with an overall up the middle approach. while reaching a peak exit velo of 98 mph throughout the round. Defensively showing feel to play multiple positions at an advanced rate, to pair with an advanced catch and throw skillset with a 75 mph arm behind the crouch with a pop time low of 2.00.
+ INF Brock Helms (Hartford Union, 2030) is built at an athletic 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame with broad and sloped shoulders with plenty of room for physical development. At the plate, the right-handed hitter swings a strong barrel reaching a peak exit velo of 91.1 mph from a clean and balanced swing. Defensively showing steady actions, playing low to the ground with quality glove to hand ability and arm strength up to 73 mph. On the mound the right-hander teased even more arm strength topping out at 77 mph with the fastball while showing feel for two secondaries that he throws with intent with feel for different action.
+ INF Braden Quade (New Richmond, 2030) stands at a strong 5-foot-11, 165-pounds frame with room for added strength as he matures. At the plate, from the right-side from a wider and balanced setup taking a handsy, quick and compact to and through the baseball with natural lift to the pull-side reaching a peak exit velocity of 88.9 mph throughout the round. Defensively showed comfortable actions in the dirt with a steady exchange and accurate throws across the diamond.
