OTTAWA, ONTARIO – Baseball Canada and Prep Baseball are pleased to announce a new partnership focused on strengthening player identification, development, and exposure opportunities across the Canadian and North American baseball landscape.
Through this agreement, Prep Baseball will serve as a scouting, event, and player promotion partner, working alongside Baseball Canada across multiple national programs and championship properties. Prep Baseball and Baseball Canada will collaborate and integrate their expertise across strategic national initiatives and share best practices in event registration, operations, data collection, and post event profiling and player recruitment. The partnership also includes integrated marketing and promotional opportunities, with both organizations featuring each other’s branding across digital platforms, events, national teams and national championships.
“This partnership represents an important step forward for baseball in Canada,” said Jason Dickson, Baseball Canada CEO. “By aligning with Prep Baseball, we are enhancing our ability to identify and support athletes across the country while providing them with access to best-in-class evaluation tools and exposure opportunities.”
“This partnership has been a long time in the making, and we couldn't be more excited to formalize what we believe will be a transformational relationship for Canadian baseball players,” said Sean Duncan, Prep Baseball President. “Our scouting staff in Canada has worked tirelessly to build relationships, cover events coast to coast, and shine a light on Canadian talent. Aligning with Baseball Canada gives us the access to take that work to an entirely new level. Together, we are committed to making sure no prospect goes unnoticed and that Canadian players have access to the same best-in-class evaluation and exposure that Prep Baseball has built its reputation on for 21 years.”
