ROSTER PREVIEW

Hudson Brown 1B / RHP / Whitney High, CA / 2028

From 1/25/26: "Brown probably had the best days all around, it was his first Prep Baseball event and he didn’t disappoint. His physical frame is noticeable from the jump, then you see him run almost a 7.00 60, and for a kid who's 6’5” he can move. Brown’s arm stood out at the workout during 1B, but when he hopped on the mound, nearly topping out at 90 mph, the sophomore transfer has a very bright future."

Ben Bradley C / 3B / West Park High, CA / 2028

From 2/9/25: "‘28 Bradley is back to playing ball and he is at full strength, very refreshing to see the young stud of a catcher hold his own against a good group of talented upperclassmen. Switch hitting catchers always seem to catch the eyes of the Prep Baseball staff. Very impressive with a 80.4 MPH bat speed, peak hand speed of 26.7 MPH, avg EV of 87.8 MPH. Found barrels from both sides of the plate, hard contact working line to line. Another stat that stood out was his on plane efficiency which was at 95 with 31.3 of max rotational acceleration. The 60-yard dash will improve over time, still managing to produce a 17.2 MPH max run speed. Bradley showed an above-average skill set behind the plate, an event best C velocity of 78 MPH and had pop times between a 2.16-2.34. You’ll be hearing about this name in the NorCal area in the next couple of years."

Mark Douglas RHP / 3B / Cardinal Newman High School, CA / 2028

Mason Harris SS / 2B / Whitney High, CA / 2028

From 10/19/25: "Harris continued to trend upward with a strong all-around performance, he showed clear signs of physical and skill development since his last showing. Harris stood at 5’10” 177 lbs, Harris carried a more athletic build with added strength throughout his frame. He ran a 7.55 60-yard dash (down significantly from 8.25 earlier this year), reaching a top run speed of 18.2 mph. He also recorded a 20.9-inch vertical jump and a 2.01 RSI max, demonstrating improved lower-body explosiveness and overall quick-twitch ability. Defensively, Harris showed much-improved actions in the infield, highlighted by a noticeably stronger arm that topped out at 85 mph across the diamond. The footwork was more efficient and under control, allowing him to stay in rhythm through his throws. The glove-to-hand exchange was crisp, and the body control on the move stood out. Harris can stick in the middle infield with continued refinement and agility gains. At the plate, Harris put together one of the standout rounds of batting practice on the day. He led the event in multiple hitting metrics, including a 98.3 mph max exit velocity, a 90.3 mph average EV, and a 368-foot max distance, showcasing the loudest contact of the session. His max hand speed of 20.4 mph and bat speed of 72.1 mph point to a quick and powerful swing, driven by a strong lower half and clean sequencing. Harris consistently found barrels, staying through the middle of the field with authority and flashing real power potential. The combination of added strength, improved run times, and an increasingly polished defensive profile makes Harris a name to follow closely in the 2028 class."

Ryan Miller 1B / OF / Granite Bay High, CA / 2028

From 1/25/26: "Miller has matured since his last event over a year ago, and he’s turning into quite the two-way prospect. Starting off with his 60 time is now a 6.97, he’s gained over 20lbs in the past year. He swings hard and with the intent to do damage. Miller’s arm has taken a leap and he has a real shot to be a gamechanger for Granite Bay High School this season."

Zach Roeder SS / 2B / Menlo School, CA / 2028

Aiden Tavares SS / 3B / Foothill High School, CA / 2028

From 3/7/25: "The freshman infielder caught my attention immediately upon seeing his first at-bat. Hitting out of the six-hole set the tone for his day with a barrel to deep left-center that was caught by the left fielder. Tavares followed this up with back-to-back hard-hit doubles, a liner to the left field fence and a grounder over the third base bag, driving in three runs on the day. Despite striking out in his final at-bat on a curveball in the dirt, Tavares gave me a good insight into his offensive profile this early in his amateur career. Tavares exhibits good bat speed at his age, with a smooth load, activated lower half, and good bat-to-ball skills. A good fastball hitter, I suspect that he will adjust well to breaking balls with more exposure as he advances in his high school career. Tavares also displayed great instincts on the bases, immediately heading to third on a play at the plate from his first double. Tavares is a name to keep on for the future."

Walter Unruh OF / Kingsburg High, CA / 2028

From 9/26/25: "Unruh had made some noise during his time at the 2025 California State Games, but placing the rising Central Valley based Soph. at an event filled with his own grad class he quickly stood out. Unruh measured in at 6'2 177.9 lbs. presently looking not only presently well developed, but boasting a frame which is going to add more strength in the future. While the potential for physicality in his profile is interesting it's the athleticism Walter combines with it that stood out including clocking a 6.74 60 yard time (The best of all California players in attendance) while adding 1.59 10 yard and 3.72 30 yard splits with a 20.3 MPH max run speed that have long term CF profile defender at the top of Unruh's defensive profile. For good measure he showed off an impressive 87 MPH present OF arm that gives him a RF backup option should he have to move out of CF at sometime in his career. As good as what Unruh did during the defensive/athletic portion of the event his offensive performance may even have been a tick better. Taking aggressive RH hacks at the dish he posted 22.9 MPH hand speeds, 72.9 MPH bat speed with 11.6 Gs of rotational acceleration on Blast Motion. The athleticism/strength in his swing combined with the feel for timing/approach he shows during batting practice produced some loud metrics for Walter. He peaked at 97.2 MPH on his exit velocity (Top 10 for players from California) while crushing a 375' max distance drive to the pullside of the field with 56% hard hit and 67% sweet spot rates."

Rocco Zirelli RHP / RHP / Junipero Serra High School, CA / 2028

From 3/7/26: "Zirelli got the start for Junipero Serra, I hadn’t seen him since his 8th grade year, he’s grown a lot since then, up to 6’4” 190lbs now. Zirelli profiles as a starter, especially with his frame, but I was impressed by his confidence and his ability to attack the zone with strikes. He really utilizes a East/West attack, the Rams had a tough time trying to figure Zirelli out early in the game. Zirelli finished the day with three innings pitched, gave up only four hits, one earned run, and added four strikeouts. The St. Mary’s lineup was pretty gritty, and Zirelli didn’t seem to be phased one bit. With only being a sophomore, his potential down the road is going to be exciting to follow. His fastball was sitting between 84-87mph T88, curveball was 74-76mph, and his CH was 76-77 mph."
