Missouri Class of 2029 Rankings Update: Preseason Edition

The 2026 Missouri high school baseball season is heading down the home stretch, and with our full slate of preseason events now complete, the Prep Baseball Missouri staff has made an update to the Show-Me State’s 2028 rankings.

Following our preseason showcase season, this update is packed full of newcomers that enter our rankings as we expand to 25 players.

Sadler made a statement at our GBA Scout Day this past winter, running his fastball up to 88 mph with feel for both his changeup and curveball. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-hander is also making an immediate impact at the varsity level, recently helping lead Potosi to a district title. He will be a high-follow prospect as he continues to polish his game. |

Mitchell McAlister RHP / 3B / Westminster Christian, MO / 2029Rankings StateRank: 9 / POS: 4
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-hander showed a low-effort delivery from a near sidearm slot at our Recruits Scout Day this past winter. McAlister generated heavy sink on a fastball that worked up to 84 mph, while demonstrating a polished feel to land both his curveball and changeup for strikes, recently helping Westminster to a district title. |

Logan Latier 1B / RHP / St. Pius X (KC), MO / 2029Rankings StateRank: 13 / POS: 2
A member of Team Missouri at the 2025 Junior Future Games, Latier is one of the most physical prospects in the state at 6-foot-3, 250 pounds. The right-handed power bat has made his presence felt at the varsity level, anchoring the heart of the Warriors' order this spring. He will be an intriguing name follow closely over the next few years. |
