Kimberly vs. Appleton North

Beckett Hermus, INF, Kimberly, 2029
Continues to look like one of the top freshman in the state’s class, standing at an athletic 5-foot-11, 170-pounds with room for additional strength to the frame. Lead off and played short for a top ranked Kimberly team. Instinctual actions at short, showed mature adjustability to difficult hops on a dirt field, as well as the ability to move laterally, and make throws from difficult angles. At the plate, Hermus showed the ability to work counts, with quick hands and a barrel that stays in the zone. A freshman name to follow.
Ryan Halfmann, C, Kimberly, 2026
Madison JC recruit. Batting out of the two spot, Halfmann has been a catalyst in this Papermakers lineup all year as one of their top offensive producers. Picking up two hits in four plate appearances this game, Halfmann also showed off an ability to run the bases efficiently, scoring two runs. Behind the plate, Halfmann is a vocal leader, who handled the pitching staff well, while showing mobility behind the plate.
Bryce Mischler, LHP, Kimberly, 2026
Heartland CC recruit. Currently the No. 3 ranked LHP in the state, Mischler took on a top ranked Appleton North lineup and didn’t disappoint. Three pitch mix, fastball sat 80-83, topping out at 84 mph. Mischler showed feel to throw the slider for strikes on both sides of the plate and in any count, with it ranging from 72-75 mph. Went the distance in the victory for Kimberly, allowing only one run and one walk in seven innings of work while striking out six. Sixty-six percent strikes, got results early in counts and missed barrels consistently the entire game.
Aedan Waterstreet, 1B/RHP, Appleton North, 2027
Central Michigan recruit. Currently ranked No. 31 in Wisconsin’s junior class, Waterstreet impressed in the three hole for Appleton North. Tasked with a tough left-on-left matchup, Waterstreet expressed a mature approach at the plate, picking up two hits in the game, including an RBI double to the opposite field gap that plated the only run of the game for the Lightning. Confident hitter, gains ground with the pre-pitch load, and keeps the barrel in the zone for a long time, resulting in consistent hard contact.
Elkhorn vs. Burlington

Aden Getka, 2B, Elkhorn, 2026
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame. Batted in the lineup and played second base. Getka put together a strong performance at the plate, finishing with three hits, an RBI, and a run scored out of the two hole for Elkhorn. He works from an open base with lower-set hands, standing tall with a heavier leg kick and stride through the operation, the path is flatter with some feel for the barrel. An uncommitted name for schools to follow.
Derrik Beckstrand, 1B, Elkhorn, 2027
Currently ranked No. 43 in the state’s junior class. Physical 6-foot-4, 242-pound left-handed hitter. Batted in the lineup and played first base. Beckstrand showed off his power potential throughout Thursday’s contest, putting together quality at-bats with present bat speed and intent. He finished with a no-doubt home run to right field, two RBIs, two runs scored, and a walk. An uncommitted name for schools to follow.
John Zambito, OF, Elkhorn, 2028
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 150-pound left-handed hitter. Long and lanky frame, played right-field for the Elks. Zambito impressed on Thursday, collecting a double and scoring a run. The actions stood out for the young left-handed hitter. He works from a wider, open setup with a quiet operation pre-pitch, showing feel in the box with more power likely to come as strength is added to the frame. An underclass name to follow.
Lincoln Vogel, C, Elkhorn, 2028
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame with proportional strength. Batted ninth and caught for the Elks. Vogel put together a quality performance at the plate, collecting three hits and two RBIs. Defensively, he displayed intriguing actions behind the plate throughout the game. An underclass name to follow in the 2028 class.
Trey Kerkhoff, SS, Burlington, 2026
Purdue commit. Currently ranked No. 15 in the state’s senior class. One of the top prospects in the state. 6-foot, 195-pound frame with strength throughout. Batted in the lineup and played shortstop. Kerkhoff worked on the barrel throughout the game, lacing a single up the middle that was misplayed in center field, allowing him to advance to third. He finished with two runs scored while also drawing a walk and being hit by a pitch. Defensively, Kerkhoff showed steady, confident hands with athletic actions throughout the infield.
Jake Dummer, C, Burlington, 2026
Currently ranked No. 232 in the state’s senior class. 6-foot-1, 205-pound frame with strength throughout. Batted fifth in the lineup and caught for the Demons. Dummer led the way offensively, collecting three hits, four RBIs, and three stolen bases. He displayed a flatter bat path with the ability to use the whole field, working counts while showing feel for the barrel with a line-drive approach. An uncommitted name for schools to follow.
Janesville Craig vs. Sun Prairie East

Manuel Abreu Socorro, C, Sun Prairie East, 2026
Madison JC commit. Strong 5-foot-10, 200-pound frame. Hit leadoff and caught for Sun Prairie East. Right-handed hitter with strong barrel control and a patient approach, consistently working into favorable counts and capitalizing when he got pitches to handle. Went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, reaching base in every at-bat while serving as the offensive spark plug for the Cardinals. Defensively, showed as a strong defender behind the plate and cut down the lone runner that tested his arm.
Brady Ausen, RHP, Janesville Craig, 2027
Uncommitted. Strong 5-foot-11, 206-pound frame. Got the start on the mound against one of the stronger offensive groups on the schedule and competed throughout the outing. Utilized a three-pitch mix to disrupt hitters, working primarily off a fastball that topped out at 81 mph. Mixed in a 69-73 mph slider for a change of pace while also flashing a 76 mph changeup. Worked into the seventh inning before exiting due to pitch count, striking out six with two walks over 6.1 innings of work. An uncommitted arm to follow in the junior class.
Grayson Uttech, 1B/OF, Sun Prairie East, 2028
Uncommitted. Strong 6-foot-2, 195-pound frame. Has continued to show well at the plate in front of staff throughout the spring. Hit fourth for Sun Prairie East and consistently found the barrel throughout the game, finishing 3-for-4 with an RBI. Left-handed hitter with advanced feel for contact and the look of a hitter beyond his class. An early follow in the sophomore class.
Joey Tomboli, LHP/1B, Sun Prairie East, 2026
Madison JC commit. Currently ranked No. 57 in the state’s senior class. One of the top pitchability left-handers in the state. Strong 6-foot-0, 185-pound frame. Was a two-way standout for the Cardinals, getting the start on the mound before contributing offensively at the plate. The southpaw showed the ability to consistently produce soft contact and worked efficiently around the zone, throwing 72% strikes over 5.2 innings while striking out three and walking one. Worked two pitches on the day with the fastball topping out at 82 mph while showing feel to spin a low-70s breaking ball for strikes. Offensively, he went 3-for-4 with an RBI on the day.

Hudson vs. River Falls

Ethan Jeffers, RHP, River Falls, 2026
Gustavus Adolphus recruit. Currently ranked No. 195 in the state’s senior class, standing at an athletic 5-foot-9, 169-pound frame. Got the start for River Falls and tossed a seven inning complete game shutout against one of the top teams in the state. Controlled and online delivery with feel to repeat, located three pitches in the zone on the day with advanced breaking ball command. The fastball played at 82-85 T86 mph with feel to locate a 67-71 mph breaking ball to both sides of the plate, thrown for first pitch strikes and as as putaway pitch. Flashed an upper-60s changeup locating the pitch in the zone when thrown.
Mark Susa, LHP, Hudson, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 16 in the state’s senior class and is the top uncommitted left-hander in the state’s junior class. Standing at a projectable 6-foot-4, 191-pound frame with clear room for added mass and strength to the frame. Got the start for Hudson and tossed a six inning complete game striking out eight batters allowing four hit and four walks and two runs. Clean and athletic crossfire delivery, flashing feel to locate a mid-80s fastball T87 mph to both sides of the plate, thrown downhill with life out of the hand. Confident in a 78-80 mph fading changeup that was the go-to secondary against right-handed batters, flashed a 77-78 mph breaking ball to left-handed batters.
Cedar Grove-Belgium vs. Random Lake

Logan Michaels, INF, Random Lake, 2026
Marian commit. Currently ranked No. 196 in the state. Batted leadoff and played second base for Random Lake. On the barrel all day out of the leadoff spot, working with a short, direct bat path. Provided three hits in the contest, highlighted by a three-run home run that gave Random Lake the lead late in the game. Defensively, smooth, effortless movements at second base, moves well laterally to both sides.
Decker Kleppin, INF, Random Lake, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 71 in the state’s junior class, standing at a physical 5-foot-11, 200-pound frame. Showed a mature approach and knowledge of the zone during his at-bats. Patient hitter with a quick bat, low chase. Consistently worked counts in his favor, hunted the fastball and was able to produce hard contact. An uncommitted name to follow.
Ira Hilbelink, RHP/OF, 2027
Currently ranked No. 2 in Wisconsin’s junior class, the Minnesota recruit utilized a three-pitch mix during his time on the mound, using the slider and fastball more heavily while throwing a couple change ups. His fastball sat 87-91 mph and held velo throughout, paired with a slider that checked in at 73-77 mph. Showed feel for spin, utilizing the slider in any count, and threw it for strikes. At the plate, Hilbelink was walked intentionally in his first three plate appearances, then lined out sharply in his fourth plate appearance. Strong feel for the barrel, top two-way prospect in the state.
Verona vs. Middleton

Landon Lassahn, RHP, Verona, 2026
Rock Valley JC commit. Currently ranked No. 61 in the state. 6-foot-3, 176-pound frame. Got the start on the mound and turned in a dominant outing, working a complete game with efficiency and strike-throwing ability. Allowed four hits, one earned run, and one walk while striking out 11 over seven innings, posting 71% strikes. Fastball sat 80-84 mph and topped at 87 mph while working to both sides of the plate against left- and right-handed hitters. Curveball was the standout secondary, sitting 72-75 mph with consistent strikes and swing-and-miss ability throughout the outing. A high-follow senior arm coming off a strong performance.
Jaxon Wepking, OF, Verona, 2027
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 168-pound frame. Hit leadoff and started in right field for Verona. Right-handed hitter who put his speed on full display throughout the game, immediately impacting the game on the bases. Finished 2-for-4 with a single and a double, scoring twice while stealing two bases. Doubled into the left-center gap in the fourth inning before later beating out an infield single in the sixth and taking an extra base on a throwing error. Run tool consistently showed up, creating pressure on the basepaths. An uncommitted junior to follow.

Wisconsin Lutheran vs. St. Joseph

Colton Meier, LHP, Wisconsin Lutheran, 2028
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 62 in the state’s sophomore class, standing at a projectable 6-foot-2, 182-pounds with room for added strength. Got the start for Wisconsin Lutheran and tossed a seven inning complete game striking out eight batters on three hits and two walks. Filled up the zone with two pitches across the outing, the fastball sat in the low-80s T84 mph with, showed feel to spin a two-plane breaking ball in the low-70s. An upside left-hander to follow inside the state’s sophomore class.
