NEVADA - Every spring, the race for Prep Baseball Nevada Player of the Year features no shortage of deserving candidates. The 2026 season was no different, as standout performances emerged from every corner of the state and across every classification. From dominant arms to prolific offensive producers, numerous players built strong cases throughout the spring. In the end, however, two players consistently separated themselves from the pack with massive performances that helped each of them earn a share of the Player of the Year Honors.

For their outstanding senior campaigns and instrumental role in leading each of their teams to successful Springs, Bishop Manogue RHP/OF - Keenan Dolan and Basic Academy OF - Andruw Giles have been named the 2026 Prep Baseball Nevada Co-Players of the Year.

KEENAN DOLAN - '26 PREP BASEBALL NEVADA CO-POTY

Emerging as one of the most dominant high school players in the state, Dolan put together a sensational 2026 campaign to lead Bishop Manogue to an outstanding 29-11 record, helping lead the Miners to the State Championship Game.

At the plate, Dolan anchored the lineup with a potent blend of power and consistency. He hit .427 on the season, racking up 50 hits in 117 at-bats. He slugged 9 home runs, 15 doubles, and two triples while driving in 50 RBIs and scoring 43 runs. He reached base at a .521 clip while posting an .821 slugging percentage and a 1.341 OPS. Few hitters combined power, plate discipline (22 walks), and consistency at the level Dolan displayed throughout the season.

His impact extended well beyond the batter's box. On the mound, Dolan logged 63.1 innings and posted an 8-3 record with a microscopic 1.43 ERA, striking out 87 hitters while holding opponents to a staggering .156 batting average. He allowed just 13 earned runs all season, maintained an elite 0.805 WHIP, and routinely delivered in some of the team's biggest games, tossing 4 complete games and 3 shutouts as a stabilizing force atop the rotation.

Dolan saved some of his best baseball for the most critical moments, helping guide Bishop Manogue through a successful spring. Displaying elite efficiency and durability, he pounded the strike zone all year, throwing 677 strikes on 1,003 total pitches while maintaining a phenomenal 9.62 K/G ratio and a stingy 1.55 BB/G mark.

ANDRUW GILES - '26 PREP BASEBALL NEVADA CO-POTY

Future Oregon Duck, Andruw Giles, solidified himself as one of the, if not the, most dynamic bats in the 2026 High School Season. The senior standout set the tone for the Basic Academy offense with high-end run production, and an advanced approach at the plate that made him one of the toughest outs in the state.

The numbers don't lie as he put up a .494 batting average, collecting 38 hits in just 77 at-bats. He proved to be a legitimate extra-base machine, spraying the field with 11 doubles, 4 triples, and 5 home runs while crossing the plate 28 times and driving in 23 runs. His ability to drive the ball while maintaining discipline allowed him to reach base at a .606 clip, making him one of the most consistent table-setters not only in the state, but the west region.

Across 99 total plate appearances, he completely neutralized opposing game plans by drawing 20 walks while striking out just 11 times. This elite vision allowed him to routinely extend innings, punish mistakes, and anchor the lineup as a dependable, high-IQ producer who thrived under pressure.

Giles was at his best when the lights were brightest, stringing together a barrage of multi-hit performances down the stretch. And while the raw statistics paint a picture of total dominance, the ability to hold down any outfield position along with his premier hit tool has cemented his status as a truly elite high school prospect.
