Corona del Sol continued its postseason run Friday night with a 6-3 victory over Queen Creek at HoHoKam Stadium. The Aztecs answered after trailing early, erupting for four runs in the fourth inning behind clutch swings from Williams and Moss. Williams led the offensive charge with three hits and three RBIs, while Rae delivered a strong outing on the mound to earn the win and send the Aztecs to the championship for potential back-to-back 6A State Championships.

O'Connor edged Hamilton in a tightly contested pitcher's duel Friday night at HoHoKam Stadium. The Eagles struck early with two first inning runs and relied on dominant pitching the rest of the way, as Del Carlo and Boncore combined to limit Hamilton to just one run. Pascanu led the offense with three hits while Nelson battled for Hamilton in a complete effort on the mound. The two will face off again tonight, Saturday, May 16th to see who makes it to the 6A State Chamionship vs Corona del Sol.
