Chantilly 3, Yorktown 2
This one was all about the performance of Chantilly sophomore, Brayden Cronin. Cronin worked seven innings on the mound, allowing four hits, two runs, zero walks, and had five strikeouts. While it was not big gaudy strikeout numbers, Cronin dealt 75% strikes in a 65 pitch complete game, where over the course of seven innings, he threw only 16 balls. In addition to his masterful performance on the mound, Cronin led off the game with a solo homerun to get the Chargers on the board. Cronin, Dylan Datka, and Tanner Garey (Richard Bland) had multi hit nights for Chantilly. For Yorktown, Aidan McCracken (St. Mary’s College of MD.) hit a two run homerun in the third and that would be just about all of the impactful offense for Yorktown.

Pretty quick and clean first 2 IP. Gave up some HHB’s in the third. Throwing a ton of strikes. Has landed the looser shaped the SL whenever he wants. Showed one CH for a strike.

#2 St. Paul VI 16, Gonzaga 1, WCAC Semifinals
The Panthers set the tone early in this game and didn't look back. Carter Perdue (East Carolina) got the start on the mound and worked four innings and only let up one hit. The Paul VI offense put on a show with home runs and extra base hits throughout the game. Ryan Bahr and Ryan Vaxmonsky had multi-hit days including towering home runs from each. Aiden Gallagher (JMU) had three hits on the day as well. Gonzaga had two hits on the night from Declan Schnabel and Aidan Scott. With the win, Paul VI takes a 1-0 lead in the semifinal series.

#6 Independence 11, Battlefield 10
This game was an offensive show with both teams showing instant offense. Josh Gunning had a solo home run in the first inning. Independence answered back in the bottom of the first inning with five runs with home runs from Reid Hydock and Matthew Son. The offenses battled back and forth deep into this game going into extras. Independence would find themselves with the bases loaded and walk things off with a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the eighth.

#10 James River (Midlothian) 4, #16 Manchester 3
An incredible matchup from start to finish. Manchester struck first in the opening inning when senior Asher Blalock (Mary Washington) singled and later came around to score on a passed ball. That 1–0 lead held until the top of the fourth, when James River broke through with three runs. The rally was highlighted by Eli Hulette’s two-out, two-RBI single. Manchester responded in the bottom of the fifth, with two outs, Landon Anderson delivered a double that drove in two runs to tie the game at 3. The score remained tied until the top of the seventh when VMI commit, Jayden Grant drew a walk, stole second, stole third and scored on a bad throw to third. Matthew Schumacher shut the door in the bottom half of the inning, sealing a 4–3 victory for James River.

Broad Run 4, Tuscarora 3
A breezy Tuesday evening in Leesburg featured a Dulles District matchup featured a Spartan team that has been surging over the last few weeks as the calendar flipped to May, and that surge continued on Tuesday with a tight 4-3 win. Broad Run jumped out to a 4-0 lead after 3 and hung on late as Tuscarora charged back. Luke Brandenburg had 3 hits including hits and Brayden Willis had 2 RBI while Brady Jackson picked up the save with 2.1 innings of scoreless relief. For Tuscarora, Ian Sullivan and Liam Hurst each had 3+ hits and freshman Hunter Stinnette had an outstanding relief appearance with 4.1 innings of 2-hit scoreless work, giving the Huskies a window to attempt a comeback.

#24 Franklin County 15, Northside 6
Franklin County broke things open with an explosive second inning in response to a four-run first inning from the Northside Vikings, using that 9-run, four-hit half to seal the lead for the rest of the game. Despite the Vikings' outhitting Franklin County, with added insurance from the Eagles in the middle innings, the score would prove out of reach with Franklin County taking the 15-6 win. ‘27 Alexander Crowl (Franklin County) would be the one to set the tone in the second inning with a grand slam out of LF that would break the tie and jumpstart the offense. ‘27 Braylen Meador (Franklin County) shut down the offensive attempts, closing out the game with 4IP allowing none and striking out nine.

Hickory 11, Indian River 8
The Hickory Hawks rallied late to defeat the Indian River Braves 11-8 after erupting for five runs in the sixth inning. Cory Pasiliao collected three hits at plate, while Dominic Longo and Nickel Ryan came through with key RBIs during the comeback. Logan Suddeth was strong in relief, striking out five batters over two innings.

Loudoun Valley 2, Woodgrove 1
The offense was limited in this one. Woodgrove scored one unearned run on five singles, while Loudoun Valley used a sixth inning rally to get them their first and only two runs. Ryan Barrett’s leadoff double in the sixth was the first hit of the night and only the second runner to reach in the first six innings. Eli Acosta would single with one out to score two and that would be all the Vikings would need. Chad Nielson was flat out dominant for the first five innings before running into some trouble in the sixth. Andrew Mazzara gave up one unearned run and threw a complete game.

#19 New Kent 9, York 4
The Trojans would score in the first two and last two innings, tallying nine runs on ten hits. Austin Uzzle hit a two run homer in the second and would add another hit on the day, while Jaxon Foreman had two singles himself. Dylan Bowman provided New Kent with the kind of start they needed, working 4.2 innings and allowed one earned while striking out five. Uzzle would come in and finish it off with 2.1 innings of work. York had four hits on the day, with three of them being doubles. Their offense seemed to come in short, quick bursts, but faded at other times. Preston Turkovich, Cooper Leach, and Wyatt Thomas all had doubles.
