Prep Baseball at The Rock Invitational

Brookfield East

Cooper Haas, OF, Brookfield East, 2027
Uncommitted, 6-foot, 175-pound frame. Currently ranked No. 77 in the state’s junior class. Batted fourth in the lineup and played the left. Haas flashed power on Saturday morning, launching a home run to center field in the sixth inning to give Brookfield East the lead. He works from a narrow, more upright setup with a heavier leg kick, flat path, and loose, strong hands through contact. He finished 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. An uncommitted name for schools to follow.

Joel Markusse, OF, Brookfield East, 2026
Wisconsin-Stout commit. Currently ranked No. 133 in the state. 5-foot-9, 161-pound frame. Hit leadoff and played center field for Brookfield East. Right-handed hitter with a simple, athletic swing and feel for the barrel, showing the ability to drive the ball in the air with authority to the pull side and backspin. Defensively, he showed as a quality outfielder with rangy routes and the ability to cover ground. A senior follow with balanced traits on both sides of the ball.

Franklin

Bennett Schueller, 1B, Franklin, 2026
Heartland CC recruit. Currently ranked No. 122 in the state’s senior class. Strong 6-foot, 172-pound frame. Batted near the top of the order and played first base for Franklin. Left-handed hitter with a simple swing, showing bat-to-ball traits and a quality approach at the plate. Collected three hits in four at-bats, scoring three times while adding an RBI and a stolen base.

Tavin Nass, C, Franklin, 2028
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 36 in the state’s sophomore class. Strong, physical 5-foot-11, 200-pound frame. Batted in the middle of the order and caught for Franklin. Right-handed hitter with a strong swing and present bat speed, showing the ability to impact the baseball with authority. Collected three hits in five at-bats, including a home run, driving in five runs while scoring twice. Behind the plate, showed athleticism and the ability to handle the position. A high-follow backstop inside the state’s sophomore class.

Dillon Herling, OF, Franklin, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 93 in the state’s junior class. Twitchy, 5-foot-6, 160-pound frame. Batted in the middle of the order and played outfield for Franklin. Right-handed hitter with a flat swing and feel for the barrel, flashing advanced bat-to-ball traits and consistently finding the barrel throughout the game. Collected two hits in three at-bats, including a home run, driving in three runs while also scoring twice and adding a stolen base. In the outfield, his run tool stood out with the ability to cover ground to either gap. An uncommitted name to follow in the class.

Nick Firle, OF, Franklin, 2026
Highland CC commit. Currently ranked No. 97 in the state’s senior class. 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame. Batted near the top of the order and played outfield for Franklin. Left-handed hitter with a strong and fluid swing, showing feel for the barrel with the ability to repeat on time and in rhythm. Put together competitive at-bats throughout, reaching base three times and scoring three runs, while adding a stolen base. Finished the day 1-for-2 with two walks, three runs, and a stolen base. A senior follow with steady offensive traits.

Prescott Sanford, LHP, Franklin, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 89 in the state’s junior class, standing at 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame. Got the start on the mound for Franklin. Fluid mover down the mound with a repeatable delivery, showing feel to throw three pitches for strikes, the fastball worked up to 84 mph while showing feel to work a low-70s breaking ball in the zone and flashed a mid-70s changeup. He worked efficiently in the zone throughout his outing, missing bats at a high rate with eight strikeouts across four innings of work. Line: 4 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 8 K. An uncommitted name to follow in the class.

Germantown

Carter Gordon, DH, Germantown, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 23 in the state. Physical 6-foot-4 frame. One of the stronger hitters in the state regardless of class. Batted in the middle of the order as the designated hitter for Germantown. Right-handed hitter with a direct path and easy strength, showing the ability to impact the baseball with authority as the ball jumps off the bat. Drove in two runs on one hit in four at-bats. An uncommitted name to follow in the class.

Hartford Union

Aidan Kolb, INF, Hartford Union, 2026
Wisconsin-La Crosse recruit. Currently ranked No. 52 in the state’s senior class standing at a strong 5-foot-8, 167-pound frame. Led off for Hartford Union and played shortstop, consistently performing and looking the part defensively at the spot in our looks with steady and natural actions for the left-side. Two hits across two games for Kolb, though the at-bats were productive throughout both contests, driving in three runs and scoring twice as well. Handsy right-handed swing with feel to lift the ball through the middle of the field, runner out of the box with speed that shows up in game to pair.

Brady Helms, INF, Hartford Union, 2027
Penn State commit. Currently ranked No. 17 in the state’s junior class, and is an arrow up prospect inside the state. Standing at 6-foot-1, 190-pounds with lean strength to the frame and more room to add to the frame. One of the top performing hitters in the state with consistent production across our looks, going 3-for-7 on the day with hard contact throughout the day. Defensively the actions and athleticism continue to tick up projecting out well at third base moving forward.

Andrew Horwath, LHP, Hartford Union, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 127 in the state’s junior class, standing at an upside 6-foot-3, 185-pound frame with room for added fill as he matures. Tossed a quality outing in relief, striking out four batters with seven whiffs across two innings, only allowing one base runner across both innings. Mostly a two pitch mix sitting in the low-80s with the fastball and spun a low-70s breaking ball.

Kaiden Romens, OF, Hartford Union, 2026
Heartland CC commit. Currently ranked No. 47 in the state’s 2026 class. 5-foot-7, 162-pound frame. Batted third in the lineup and played center. Romens was the hero in Hartford Union’s comeback win over Whitnall. Trailing by four entering the bottom of the seventh, Hartford rallied before Romens stepped in with the bases loaded and the game down to two runs. He drove a ball deep to center field that narrowly missed leaving the yard, bringing in two runs with a walk-off double to secure the win. Romens displayed bat speed throughout, working from an open, athletic base with quick hands through the zone.

Hudson

Jace Mataczynski, SS, Hudson, 2026
Auburn recruit. Currently ranked No. 3 in the state and is a must-see prospect leading up to the MLB Draft early this summer. Strong yet still projectable at 6-foot-4, 193-pounds, was a standout across a two-game look at The Rock. Impact defender at shortstop with a ceiling to both the glove and arm that may even surpass plus on the grading scale one day. Multiple loud swings on the day, swatting two-home runs and finishing the day 4-for-8 with a double and five RBIs. Mature approach and swing-decisions at the plate with seemingly natural ability to barrel up the baseball, especially fastballs, some swing and miss against spin early on in the day before not swinging and missing at an offering to finish out the day. One of the top seniors in what looks to be a historically talented class coming out of the Badger State.

Sam Abrahamson, INF, Hudson, 2026
St. Thomas recruit. Currently ranked No. 29 in the state’s senior class, standing lean and strong 6-foot, 187-pound frame. Standout across both games, leading off and playing both middle infield spots throughout the day. Quality at-bats across the day reaching base safely five times while flashing impact to the pull side. Athletic defender in the dirt with middle infield actions and an athletic arm that plays on the move and from multiple slots.

Logan Hagman, C, Hudson, 2027
Minnesota commit. Currently ranked No. 4 in the state’s junior class, standing at a physical 6-foot-1, 192-pound frame. Caught both games while hitting in the two hole, making an impact in both games at the plate going 3-for-7 with two doubles and three RBIs. The present power stands out at the plate with a ceiling of above-average or better, and he regularly get to it in game. Defensively behind the plate showing steady and athletic actions, while flashing arm strength.

Sam Manchester, OF, Hudson, 2026
Bryant & Stratton CC signee. Currently ranked No. 53 in the state’s senior class, standing at a lean and athletic 5-foot-11, 163-pound frame with room for additional strength. Everyday center fielder for the Raiders and hits cleanup, taking strong/competitive at-bats throughout the day, definitely an asset on the basepaths, swiping four bases on the day . Defensively in center the athleticism stands out, range to either gap and promising jumps/reads off the bat.

Mark Susa, 1B/LHP, Hudson, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 16 in the state’s junior class, standing at a strong 6-foot-4, 191-pound frame with strength and more room to add. Known more for his ability on the mound as one of the top left-handed pitchers in the state, swung a strong and impactful bat at the event hitting two doubles and a loud home run against quality competition. Defensively at first played clean defense throughout with feel for the bag and comfortable/confident actions.

Kingsford (MI)

Jonah Doenier, 2B, Kingsford, 2027
Uncommitted. 5-foot-8, 145-pound frame. Started at second base and batted in the nine-hole for the Flivvers. Right-handed hitter with a twitchy swing, working with a direct and adjustable path while flashing bat-to-ball traits throughout the day. Collected two hits in three at-bats and scored a run. An uncommitted name to follow in the class.

Marquette University

Harrison Schwabe, RF, Marquette University, 2027
Uncommitted. 6-foot-5, 180-pound frame. Started in right field and hit fifth for Marquette University. Left-handed hitter with an athletic swing, flashing feel to drive the ball with developing impact potential. Went 1-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base, showing ability to impact the game in multiple ways. Defensively, provided steady work in the outfield with clean actions and an accurate arm. An uncommitted name to follow in the class.

Madison Memorial

Ray Figueroa, LF, Madison Memorial, 2029
Currently ranked No. 18 in the state. 5-foot-10, 158-pound frame. Started in left field and hit ninth for the Spartans. Right-handed hitter looking to do damage, swinging with easy intent to do damage and showing feel for the barrel. Consistently worked to drive the baseball with developing impact as part of his offensive approach. An early follow in the 2029 class.


Muskego

Tyson Grulkowski, RHP, Muskego, 2026
South Florida recruit. Currently ranked No. 2 in the state’s senior class and No. 42 nationally, trending as one of the top pitching prospects in the Midwest for this years MLB Draft. Got the start for Muskego in what could very well be the “Game of the Year”, tossing 2.2 innings striking out five batters against one of the top lineups in the state. Physical and athletic 6-foot-5, 234-pound workhorse type frame. Clean delivery on the mound working directionally towards the plate with extension down the mound, low 3/4 slot to pair with feel to backspin, pronate and supinate. The fastball worked 89-93 mph throughout the outing with seemingly more velocity on the way as the weather warms up, playing life out of the hand, flashing carry at times. The slider is the go-to secondary sitting in the upper-70s with sharp sweeping action earning multiple whiffs both in and out of the zone, flashed an upside changeup at 83 mph.

Callen Tomsyck, OF, Muskego, 2026
South Dakota State recruit. Currently ranked No. 20 in the state’s senior class, standing at a strong 5-foot-11, 168-pound frame. Got the start in right field and hit second for Muskego, going 1-for-5 with a home run on the day, however not swinging and missing a single time throughout five at-bats. Continues to flash advanced bat-to-ball traits and swing decisions across our looks to pair with quality outfield defense that could even translate seamlessly to center field at the next level.

Kyle Rogosienski, SS, Muskego, 2027
Vanderbilt recruit. Currently the top ranked junior in the state’s class, standing at a lean and twitchy 5-foot-11, 174-pound frame with room to continue to add strength. Got the start at shortstop and hit leadoff for the Warriors, going 1-for-2 with three walks, minimal swing-and-miss throughout the look while taking quality at-bats throughout. Defensively the shortstop plays with athletic actions and a noticeable arm strength across the diamond while possessing a ceiling as a defender at shortstop.

New Berlin Eisenhower

Caleb Johns, OF/1B, New Berlin Eisenhower, 2026
Rock Valley JC commit. Former Future Games participant. Currently ranked No. 25 in the state’s senior class. 6-foot, 182-pound, athletic frame. Batted third in the lineup and played left for New Berlin Eisenhower. Johns put together a loud showing at the plate, sending two no-doubt home runs over the wall in center field, driving in four of the team's five runs. He displayed quick-twitch actions with the ability to drive the ball for power to all fields, showing strong hands and consistent barrel feel. Johns finished a perfect 2-for-2 with 2 runs scored, four RBI, and a sacrifice fly.

New Berlin West

Caleb Kreuser, 1B, New Berlin West, 2028
Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 225-pound frame. Started at first base and hit seventh for New Berlin West. Right-handed hitter with a direct path and feel to drive the ball in the air, showing the ability to elevate contact with impact. Went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI on the day. An uncommitted name to follow in the sophomore class.

Reedsburg

Winston Alonso, INF, Reedsburg Area, 2026
Madison JC recruit. Currently ranked No. 17 in the state’s senior class, standing at a strong 6-foot-1, 181-pound frame. Was a standout across two games for Reedsburg. At the plate the left-handed hitter swings a strong left-handed bat with feel to impact/drive the ball to all fields. Five hits on the day with three doubles and four RBIs on the day. Sound approach throughout his at-bats, ready to attack while not expanding out of the zone with standout barrel feel/accuracy.

Ian McClure, OF, Reedsburg Area, 2028
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No.5 in the state’s sophomore class, standing at a physical and imposing 6-foot-3, 216-pound frame. Strength/size/speed outfield prospect with advanced tools for his age, swinging a strong and twitchy right-handed bat flashing feel for the barrel throughout the day. Finished the day going 3-for-6 with two doubles, four RBIs, two runs and a walk while looking the part as a centerfielder at the next level flashing range to both gaps during both games.

Sawyer Mittelstaedt, C, Reedsburg Area, 2028
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 5 in the state’s sophomore class, standing at a projectable 6-foot-2, 183-pound frame with lean strength and more room to add to the frame. Started behind the plate and hit near the back end of the lineup, two multi-hit games with easy strength at the plate. Steady defender behind the dish with a strong arm and catch and throw traits.

St. Joseph Catholic

Zach Rizzo, RHP, St. Joseph, 2026
Wisconsin-Parkside recruit. Currently ranked No. 55 in the state’s senior class, standing at a physical and strong 6-foot-5, 239-pound frame with strength throughout the frame. Got the start on the mound for the Lancers tossing four innings while striking out three batters and allowing one unearned run. Clear arm talent on the mound, expected for a QB1, operating at 85-88 mph with the fastball with ease throughout the outing, while showing feel to land a low-70s curveball in the zone as an effective go-to secondary offering. Also one of the strongest right-handed bats in the state with high raw power ceiling.

St. Thomas More

Luke Mrazek, OF, St. Thomas More, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 104 in the state. 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame. Started in right field and hit leadoff for St. Thomas More. Left-handed hitter with a clean swing working on plane with whip, showing an athletic look in the box and consistent barrel control. Went 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs, a walk, and a run scored. In the outfield, he looks the part with an athletic presence and steady actions. An uncommitted name to follow in the junior class.

Waterford Union

Carter Thoen, C/DH, Waterford Union, 2029
Currently ranked No. 17 in the state. 6-foot-0, 204-pound frame. Batted cleanup and served as the designated hitter for Waterford Union. Right-handed hitter with a fast, strong swing, showing easy strength and an athletic path with feel to drive the ball in the air. Collected two hits in two at-bats, including a home run, driving in two runs while scoring twice and adding a walk. One of the top freshmen in the state and a high-follow in the class.

Mason Thoen, CF, Waterford Union, 2027
Uncommitted. 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame. Started in center field and hit third for Waterford Union. Right-handed hitter with a quick, direct swing, flashing feel for the barrel and the ability to drive the ball in the air. Went 1-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored, an RBI, and a walk. Defensively, shows raw but promising actions in the outfield with enough athletic traits to project across multiple spots in the grass. An uncommitted name to follow in the junior class.

Emmett Dargatz, LF, Waterford Union, 2029
6-foot-2, 204-pound frame with advanced physicality for a freshman and strength throughout the build. Started in left field and hit sixth for Waterford Union. Right-handed hitter with a strong swing and feel to drive the ball through the middle of the field, showing consistent contact quality throughout the game. Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. Early follow in the 2029 class.

Cullen Frost, C, Waterford Union, 2028
Uncommitted. 6-foot-1, 206-pound frame with strength throughout. Started behind the plate and hit seventh for Waterford Union. Right-handed hitter with a direct swing and feel to backspin the baseball through the middle of the field. Went 1-for-2 and was hit by a pitch on the day. Behind the plate, provided a steady presence with clean, soft hands and handled blocking duties well during the game. An uncommitted name to follow in the sophomore class.

Whitefish Bay

Charlie McIntyre, OF, Whitefish Bay, 2026
Youngstown State commit. Currently ranked No. 63 in the state’s senior class. 6-foot-1, 173-pound frame. Batted leadoff and played center for Whitefish Bay. McIntyre showed athletic actions throughout the game. McIntyre is a sparkplug at the top of the order with true bat-to-ball feel. The LHH finished 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI, two runs scored, and two stolen bases. He drove in a run with a double to left-center and impacted the game in multiple ways.

Matthew Schoenfeldt, MIF, Whitefish Bay, 2026
Currently ranked No. 62 in the state’s senior class. Athletic 6-foot-2, 176-pound frame. Batted third in the lineup and played in the second. Schoenfeldt put together an impressive showing on Saturday afternoon, finishing 2-for-2 with four RBIs, a home run, two walks, two runs scored, and a stolen base. He works from a wider, crouched, open base with a simple leg kick, showing a patient approach with power to the gaps. One of the top uncommitted seniors in the state.

Whitnall

Luke Parkinson, RHP, Whitnall, 2026
Bradley signee. Recent Wisconsin ProCase participant. Currently ranked No. 24 in the state’s senior class. 6-foot-3, 191-pound frame. Got the start on the mound in a brief look and turned in three hitless innings of work. Parkinson operated from a higher ¾ slot with a balanced leg tuck into delivery. His fastball sat 86-90 mph with life through the zone, pairing it with a 71-73 mph curveball that showed 11/5 shape and an 80-82 mph changeup with fading action. He struck out four while not allowing a hit or run. Line: 3 IP, 0 H, 3 BB, 4 K, 0 R.

Michael Gappa, OF, Whitnall, 2028
Uncommitted. Batted cleanup and played left for Whitnall. Gappa gave a quality look at the plate, launching a home run over the wall in center field to get the scoring started in the top of the first inning. He works from a balanced base with quiet pre-pitch actions, utilizing a toe-tap stride and flat path with strong hands through contact. Finished with two hits, two RBI, and a run scored. A younger name to follow in the 2028 class.

Wisconsin Lutheran

Carter Fry, OF, Wisconsin Lutheran, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 21 in the state’s junior class, 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame. Led off and played center field for Wisconsin Lutheran. Right-handed hitter with a twitchy, athletic swing, showing easy bat speed and consistent feel for the barrel with the ability to drive the ball to all fields. Collected three hits in five at-bats, driving in four runs while scoring once and adding a triple. In center field, he showed rangy actions with the ability to cover ground in the gaps. One of the top uncommitted juniors left on the market in the Badger State.

Cooper Sievert, SS, Wisconsin Lutheran, 2027
West Virginia commit. 5-foot-11, 187-pound frame. Got the start at shortstop and hit third for Wisconsin Lutheran. Right-handed hitter with an athletic swing and a track record of performing in front of staff, showing consistent quality at-bats. Went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored. Defensively, he showed athletic actions on the left side of the infield with the ability to handle shortstop at a high level. A Power 4 commit and steady middle-infield follow in the junior class.
