In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

Maize dominated Andover Central in a 13-0 shutout, fueled by a powerful offensive performance featuring two home runs from Gavin Short and four RBIs from Parker Meirowsky. Short also anchored the win on the mound, allowing no runs over three innings, while Carter Harper contributed a bases-clearing double during a seven-run first inning. Despite the loss, Andover Central saw multi-hit efforts from Kilian Tyrell and Caden Pritchard, who combined for four of the team's seven hits.

Roch Emanuel provided the offensive spark for Piper with two RBIs, including a key fourth-inning single that helped reclaim the lead late in the contest. Despite the narrow loss, Spring Hill received a strong start from Jordan Miller, who surrendered only one run over five innings while striking out five.

Manhattan edged out Washburn Rural in a 3-2 defensive battle, powered by a standout performance from Liam Nider, who finished 2-for-2 with a solo home run and the go-ahead RBI single. Brayson Gnirk earned the complete-game victory on the mound, surrendering only one earned run and four hits over seven innings of work. Washburn Rural stayed competitive behind a solid outing from starting pitcher Ansley and an RBI single from Johnson.

Trent Gray anchored the lineup with three RBIs to support Tyler Edmiston’s winning effort on the mound as Washburn Rural pulled away with a decisive late-inning surge. Manhattan’s offense was highlighted by Greyson Wassenberg, who drove in three runs on a bases-clearing double in the second inning.
