The 2026 high school baseball season is underway and, as usual, excitement is present throughout Minnesota. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across the North Star State.

Each week we will be releasing our Power Rankings, Scout Blog, Diamond Notes, and Player of The Week, covering all the bases. Today, we look at the scores from our teams in our Power Rankings.

NOTES

+ No. 3 Farmington got back on track with an 8-2 win over Lakeville South. Grady Renwick (2026, 3B, Southwest Minnesota State) continues to produce in the middle of the order, going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. On the mound, Lucas Oistad (2027, LHP, Uncommitted) delivered another steady outing, working six innings of two-hit, two-run ball while striking out eight. The Tigers move to 5-1.

+ No. 4 Andover stays unbeaten, taking down Blaine 11-5 in extras. Tied at five through seven, the Huskies broke it open with six runs in the eighth. Keaton Coe (2026, SS, Campbellsville) set the tone at the top, going 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, finishing with two RBI and three runs scored. Andover is now 5-0.

+ No. 5 Mounds View handled Forest Lake 10-0 in a run-rule win. Cooper Caligiuri (2026, C, Uncommitted) led the offense with a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, and two RBI. The Mustangs improve to 5-0.

+ No. 7 Champlin Park responded after an early deficit, giving up two in the first before scoring 12 unanswered to beat Robbinsdale Armstrong. Caleb Greer (2026, OF, Bemidji State) filled up the stat sheet, going 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI, two stolen bases, and two runs scored. Tanner Wylie (2026, RHP, Concordia-St. Paul) gave them four innings on the mound, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out six to earn the win. The Rebels are now 3-2.

+ No. 10 Chaska continued its strong start with a 9-2 win over New Prague. Owen Strey (2026, SS/RHP, Creighton) impacted the game in multiple ways, going 2-for-4 with a triple, two stolen bases, two RBI, and two runs scored. Kalin Jochum (2027, IF/RHP, Uncommitted) handled the mound, working four innings while allowing one run on three hits and striking out four. The Hawks move to 3-0.
