Compiled from submissions by high school coaches statewide, this feature highlights standout individual efforts from the previous week and takes a closer look at the players who made the biggest impact on the diamond.

Luke Houser C / 1B / Mountain Brook, AL / 2026 Power was on display for the Northeast Mississippi CC recruit, going 8-for-18 (.444) with 3 HR, a double, and 9 RBI. He also made his presence felt defensively, throwing out 4 runners attempting to steal.

Camden Fuller 2B / OF / Deshler, AL / 2026 Racked up hits all week, going 10-for-17 (.588) with 3 doubles and 9 RBI, while scoring 4 runs. Also drew 5 walks, was hit once, and added 3 stolen bases.

Jordon Lankford 3B / OF / Geraldine School, AL / 2028 Continued his torrid stretch at the plate, going 9-for-14 (.643) with a HR, 2 triples, and 2 doubles, driving in 12 runs and scoring 11 times. Also drew 6 walks, was hit once, swiped 6 bases, and finished with a .762 OBP.

Braxton Franklin C / RHP / Geraldine High School, AL / 2029 Filled up the stat sheet all week, going 7-for-13 (.538) with a HR, double, and 5 RBI, while scoring 14 runs. He also drew 7 walks, was hit once, and posted a .714 OBP. On the mound, he added 3 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits while striking out 7.

Jon Beck Wade OF / OF / Geraldine School, AL / 2028 Made a big impact offensively, going 8-for-19 (.421) with a HR, double, and 10 RBI, while scoring 7 runs. Also added 6 stolen bases.

Kooper Rogers RHP / Geraldine School, AL / 2028 Contributed on both sides of the ball, going 8-for-19 (.421) with 8 RBI and 7 runs scored, while adding 6 stolen bases. Also earned the win on the mound, tossing 6 innings with 3 hits, 1 ER, 6 strikeouts, and 3 walks.

Cooper Frampton SS / RHP / St.Lukes, AL / 2027 Put together a dominant all-around week, going 7-for-8 (.875) with 2 HR, 4 doubles, 9 RBI, and 11 runs scored. He also drew 5 walks, was hit once, and posted a .929 OBP. On the mound, he was equally impressive, tossing a 5-inning complete-game no-hitter with 13 strikeouts and 2 walks.

Kamrin Jenkins SS / RHP / Bob Jones, AL / 2026 The Missouri commit had a big week at the plate, going 7-for-12 (.583) with 2 HR, a triple, a double, and 8 RBI, while scoring 6 runs. He also added 2 HBP and 2 stolen bases.

Joshua Wilhide RHP / 1B / Bob Jones, AL / 2026 Wilhide stayed productive throughout the week, the uncommitted senior went 5-for-9 (.556) with 3 doubles, 2 HR, and 7 RBI, adding 4 runs scored and 2 walks.

Nicholas Koukos SS / OF / Bob Jones, AL / 2026 Stayed hot at the plate, going 6-for-9 (.668) with 3 doubles, driving in 2 runs and scoring 5 times. He also drew 2 walks, was hit once, and added a stolen base.

Cole Spanier 3B / RHP / Bob Jones, AL / 2026 The uncommitted senior turned in a strong two-way week, going 5-for-11 (.455) with 3 doubles, 3 RBI, and 2 runs scored, while drawing 2 walks. On the mound, he added 3 scoreless innings with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk.

Jaxson Wood SS / Hoover, AL / 2026 A huge week for the Tennessee recruit, going 9-for-19 (.474) with 3 triples, 2 doubles, and 11 RBI, while adding 4 stolen bases for the 7A No. 6 Bucs.

Gunner Johnson SS / OF / Brooks, AL / 2027 Turned in a strong all-around week, going 8-for-17 (.471) with a HR, triple, 3 doubles, and 7 RBI, while scoring 6 runs and adding a stolen base. Also earned a complete-game win vs. Elmore County, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks over 7 innings.

Dayton Porter OF / OF / Boaz High School, AL / 2028 Made a major impact last week, going 6-for-13 (.462) with 2 triples and 11 runs scored, while swiping 7 bases. Also broke the school record for stolen bases in a single season with 22 on the year.

Baylor Fields SS / OF / Pell City, AL / 2026 The Coastal Alabama–North CC recruit put together a strong week, going 6-for-11 (.545) with 2 doubles, 4 RBI, and 5 runs scored. He also delivered defensively with a game-winning throw to the plate to preserve an 11-10 win over Pelham.

Carson Brown 3B / Lauderdale County, AL / 2026 Collected hits at a high rate all week, going 8-for-16 (.500) with 3 triples, 2 doubles, and 9 RBI, while scoring 4 runs. He also added 4 stolen bases and finished with a .529 OBP.

Camden Cullen OF / RHP / Fairview High School, AL / 2027 Delivered in a big way all week, going 5-for-11 (.455) with 3 doubles, 5 RBI, and 7 runs scored, while drawing 4 walks and being hit 5 times. He also came through with a walk-off double vs. Arab in Game 3 of the area series. On the mound, he went 3-0, allowing just 2 hits over 7.2 innings with 10 strikeouts, posting a 2.73 ERA.

Hampton Hall SS / 2B / Oakman, AL / 2028 Put together a strong week at the plate, going 5-for-13 (.385) with a HR and 2 doubles vs. Mountain Brook, while scoring 9 runs and adding 6 stolen bases.

Brady Jones SS / RHP / Oakman, AL / 2026 The uncommitted senior stayed hot at the plate, going 9-for-16 (.563) with 4 doubles and driving in 9 runs.

Mason Holloway OF / 2B / Hamilton, AL / 2027 Contributed in all phases this week, going 4-for-8 (.500) with a triple, 4 runs scored, and a stolen base, while adding 2 walks. He also earned a complete-game win, tossing 7 innings with 5 strikeouts and 3 earned runs.

Houston Tibbs SS / 2B / Hamilton High School, AL / 2027 Nearly perfect at the plate, going 4-for-5 (.800) with a triple, 4 RBI, and 4 runs scored. Also drew 4 walks and added 2 stolen bases.

Tripp Summers SS / 2B / Hamilton, AL / 2027 Stayed productive all week, going 5-for-7 (.714) with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored, while adding 2 stolen bases and a walk for a .750 OBP.

Desmond Ruffin OF / 2B / James Clemens, AL / 2028 Produced consistently throughout the week, going 8-for-15 (.533) with 2 doubles, 4 RBI, and 6 runs scored, while adding 5 stolen bases.

Bryson Hodge OF / RHP / James Clemens, AL / 2028 Powered a strong week at the plate, going 6-for-15 (.400) with 2 HR, 2 doubles, and 7 RBI, while scoring 6 runs. He also drew a walk, was hit three times, and swiped 5 bases.

Matthew Evers 1B / OF / James Clemens, AL / 2027 Stayed consistent at the plate, going 8-for-18 (.444) with 2 doubles, 3 RBI, and 4 runs scored, while adding a stolen base.

Truett Austin SS / RHP / Madison Academy, AL / 2028 The toolsy sophomore had a big week at the plate, going 11-for-18 (.611) with 4 doubles and 10 RBI.

Trey Harville OF / C / Austin High School, AL / 2028 Powered a big offensive week, going 6-for-10 (.600) with 2 HR, a triple, and 2 doubles, while driving in 4 runs and scoring 7 times. He also drew 2 walks.

Owen Prater 1B / Austin High School, AL / 2028 Delivered in multiple roles this week, going 6-for-11 (.545) with a double, 4 RBI, and a stolen base. He also converted both save opportunities, striking out 7 over 3 innings.

Levi Morgan C / 2B / Austin High School, AL / 2026 Collected hits consistently throughout the week, going 7-for-14 (.500) with a triple, double, 2 RBI, and 3 runs scored.

Paxton Branum 1B / 3B / Austin High School, AL / 2026 Showed impact on both sides, going 5-for-12 (.417) with a HR, triple, and double, adding 2 RBI and 3 runs scored. He also recorded a save, striking out 2 over 2 innings.

Jacob O'Bryan 3B / C / Gulf Shores High, AL / 2026 The Bishop State CC recruit delivered a big week, going 8-for-15 (.533) with 2 doubles, 10 RBI, and 5 runs scored, while adding a walk and 3 stolen bases for a .562 OBP. He also came through in the clutch with a game-winning 2-RBI, 2-out single vs. George County.

Tres Moore 2B / Gulf Shores, AL / 2026 Made a big impact offensively, going 5-for-11 (.455) with 7 RBI and 5 runs scored. He also drew 4 walks, was hit once, added 2 stolen bases, and finished with a .625 OBP.

Madison Curry OF / RHP / Holtville High School, AL / 2026 The Lawson State CC recruit turned in a strong two-way week, going 5-for-12 (.417) with 2 doubles, 4 RBI, and 4 runs scored, while drawing 2 walks. On the mound, he tossed a complete-game win, allowing 1 earned run on 4 hits with 12 strikeouts and 2 walks over 7 innings.

Graham Segraves RHP / OF / Bob Jones, AL / 2027 Dominant in a complete-game shutout, earning the win with 5 innings of work while allowing 4 hits, striking out 9, and issuing no walks.

AJ Purvis OF / Madison Academy, AL / 2027 Shined on the mound with a complete-game shutout vs. Ardmore, tossing 5 innings while allowing just 3 hits, striking out 8, and issuing no walks to earn the win.

John Luke Stephens SS / RHP / Gulf Shores, AL / 2026 The Mississippi Gulf Coast CC recruit was dominant, tossing a 6-inning complete-game shutout while allowing just 3 hits, striking out 11, and issuing no walks to earn the win.

Woods Mcelroy RHP / 1B / Gulf Shores, AL / 2027 The uncommitted junior earned a complete-game win, tossing 7 innings while allowing 5 hits and 2 earned runs, striking out 3 with 1 walk.

Alex Cothren 3B / 2B / Huntsville, AL / 2026 Cothren put together a strong week at the plate, going 6-for-7 (.857) with a .889 OBP and 1.429 slugging percentage, collecting three doubles and a triple while driving in four runs and drawing two walks.
