Key Week 4 Updates
Bishop Gorman (#1): Remains at #1 after a perfect 4-0 week. The Gaels outscored their opponents 41-15, including dominant wins over La Salle and Canyon View, winning the Coach Bob National Invitational.
Basic Academy (#2): Holds steady at #2 following an impressive 2-0 week highlighted by back-to-back victories over Desert Oasis. Basic's balanced attack with efficient outings on the mound, along with a high powered offense that seems to be clicking as of late.
Arbor View (#3): Remains at #3 after an active 4-1 week. The Aggies secured multiple wins at the Red Rock Classic, including a 6-1 victory over Pleasant Grove and an 18-0 blowout of Blackfoot.
Centennial (#4): Remains at #4 following a 2-0 series sweep of Lake Havasu. The Bulldogs displayed offensive balance, scoring 14 runs over the two games while keeping their strong season momentum alive.
Faith Lutheran (#5): Remains at #5 after battling back to a .500 record. The Crusaders secured a statement 7-0 shutout win over Durango behind a dominant pitching performance from Dylan Othick.
Palo Verde (#6): Moves up one spot following a week of consistent play that included signature wins to improve their record to 11-6. The Panthers continue to climb as they enter the heart of their regional schedule.
Reno (#7): Drops one spot with an 8-6 record. Despite the minor slide, the Huskies remain the top-ranked program in the North and a major threat in Class 5A.
Foothill (#8): Remains at #8 with an 13-6 overall record. The Falcons continue to show they belong in the Top 10 after a 2-1 week where they put up 29 runs over the 3 games, showing off what their offense is capable of.
Bishop Manogue (#9): Moves up one spot after a 5-0 week. The Miners dominated Nestucca 14-0 and South Albany 25-0, the offense has come to life, averaging 12+ runs per game during their recent stretch.
Desert Oasis (#10): Drops one spot following a tough three-game skid. Despite a 12-6-1 overall record, the Diamondbacks faced high-level competition, including two losses to #2 Basic Academy.
