RECAP
In the first 2026 Game of the Day, Middleton faced off with Mountan View in a high action game. Middleton came out swinging, in the 2nd inning '26 OF Grady Churchfield blasted a triple to right field, and was later batted in giving them the first run of the game. Mountain View did not roll over though. In this punch to punch match up that had 19 hits Mountain View answered back any time Middleton scored. After giving up 4 runs in the top of the 7th inning, Mountain View filled the bases, and won the game with a walk off Sacrifice Fly from '27 C Tav Hiaring. Both teams picked up right where they left off last year, with strong offensive games and commanding the zone with a high strike percentage. Middleton faces off with Vallivue at home tonight, while Mountain View will face Owyhee tonight for another top match up.
