+ CLINTON VS LAFAYETTE

+ HERNANDO VS PETAL

Hernando held off a late rally from Petal to secure a 10-9 win on Wednesday. Hernando built a seven-run lead by the fifth inning behind timely hitting, including a two-run home run and a three-run fifth inning. Petal mounted a comeback with a six-run sixth inning, but Hernando was able to close the door late to preserve the victory.

+ KOSSUTH VS GERMANTOWN

Germantown rallied late to defeat Kossuth 5-4 on Wednesday. After trailing 4-3 in the sixth inning, Germantown took the lead on a two-run single and held on the rest of the way. The Mavericks received strong relief pitching to close out the game, while their offense produced timely hits to complete the comeback victory.

+ NORTHPOINT CHRISITAN VS PONTOTOC

Pontotoc defeated Northpoint Christian 5-1 on Wednesday at Pass Christian High School. Pontotoc jumped out to an early lead with a run in the first and added two more in the third to create separation. The Warriors totaled nine hits in the win and received solid work on the mound from their starter and bullpen to hold Northpoint Christian to just one run.

+ NETTLETON VS ST. JOE CATHOLIC

Nettleton edged St. Joseph Catholic 3-2 on Wednesday in a tightly contested game between two strong pitching staffs. Nettleton took an early lead, briefly fell behind in the third inning, and responded with two runs in the bottom half to regain control. The pitching staff combined to limit St. Joseph Catholic to just four hits, while the offense produced timely hits to secure the win.
