In conjunction with our in game coverage throughout the 2026 season, this Daily Roundup will serve as your daily stop for staying up to date on the latest results and storylines from around Utah.

NOTABLE RECAPS FROM FRIDAY

#7 Snow Canyon (2) vs. #2 Spanish Fork (5)

The Spanish Fork Varsity Dons relied on a masterful pitching performance to secure a hard-fought 5–2 victory over the Snow Canyon Varsity Warriors. The charge was spearheaded by Kayden Lambson, who was absolutely untouchable on the mound, striking out nine batters while allowing only two hits over five innings to earn the win. Offensively, the Dons showed great situational awareness and discipline, drawing five walks and capitalizing on timely hits from Sammy Dart, who collected two base knocks, and Nixon Warren, who drove in two crucial runs. Snow Canyon displayed plenty of heart and speed on the basepaths, with Braden Mugavero and Milo Ence each swiping two bases, while Trey Vaughn provided a spark with a triple. However, the Spanish Fork relief effort remained composed, as Nixon Warren moved from center field to the mound to strike out six more batters, showcasing the team's depth and grit in a dominant defensive display.

#6 Lehi (10) vs. #24 Canyon View (5)

The Lehi Varsity Pioneers showcased an explosive offensive display to secure a high-energy 10–5 victory over the Canyon View Varsity Falcons. The charge was spearheaded by Case Kelley, who was absolutely untouchable at the plate, launching two home runs and driving in three, while Kannon Whiteley provided significant power with two doubles and four RBIs. The Pioneers also displayed great speed and situational awareness, with Jake Welch swiping three bases and James Rex adding two more to keep the pressure on the Falcons' defense. Canyon View showed plenty of heart behind Cannon Williams, who finished a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBIs, and Jeter Sanders, who doubled as part of a multi-hit game. On the mound, Sawyer Call earned the win for Lehi with five solid innings, and Taygen Stephensen displayed true grit by closing out the final two frames without allowing a single hit or run to seal the team win.

#20 Jordan (12) vs. #7 Snow Canyon (13)

In a high-octane thriller that kept fans on the edge of their seats, the Snow Canyon Varsity Warriors showcased incredible resilience to outlast the Jordan Beetdiggers Varsity in a 13–12 victory. The charge for Snow Canyon was spearheaded by Logan Ross, who was nearly untouchable at the plate with three hits and four runs scored, and Talan Hansen, who provided the ultimate spark with a massive home run and four RBIs. The Beetdiggers showed plenty of heart and power of their own, led by Isaac Salazar, who launched a home run and a double as part of a three-RBI performance, and Dallon Molder, who reached base in every single plate appearance. Despite a late-inning surge from Jordan that saw Gage Nalder and Kody Kemp drive in key runs, Braden Mugavero displayed true grit on the mound, coming in to strike out four batters and navigate a high-pressure finale to earn the win. It was a total team effort for the Warriors, who capitalized on twelve hits and aggressive baserunning from Bridger Larsen and PJ Hancock to secure the narrow win.

Orem (3) vs. #10 Desert Hills (6)

The Desert Hills Varsity Thunder utilized a balanced attack and timely power to secure a hard-fought 6–3 victory over the Orem Varsity Tigers. The charge for the Thunder was spearheaded by Brock Graf, who launched a towering home run and finished with two RBIs, while Roah Wall showed incredible consistency with a multi-hit game. On the mound, Jaxton Tolman earned the win with a strong start, pitching nearly six innings and allowing zero earned runs despite the Tigers putting several runners on base. The Tigers showed plenty of heart behind a standout performance from Chase Ford, who collected three hits including two doubles, and Luke Jones, who added two hits of his own to keep the pressure on. While Orem racked up eight total hits and saw a gritty relief effort from Mac Christiansen, the Thunder's defense remained composed, and Maddux MacIntosh stepped in to close the door in the final frame to seal the team win.

Juab (6) vs. #16 Timpanogos (8)

The Timpanogos Varsity Timberwolves displayed incredible resilience in a back-and-forth battle to secure a hard-fought 8–6 victory over Juab. The charge for the Timberwolves was spearheaded by Cooper Hawkes, who was nearly untouchable at the plate with three hits and an RBI, while Crew Peterson and Shane Eaquinto provided a significant spark by combining for three hits and three RBIs. Juab showed plenty of heart throughout the contest, led by Maddix P, who tripled as part of a three-hit performance, and Madix S, who drove in three runs on two hits. While Juab out-hit Timpanogos eleven to eight, the Timberwolves capitalized on defensive miscues and aggressive baserunning, with Corbin Hardy swiping two bases and Crew Peterson adding another. On the mound, Jace Spencer earned the win with a gritty relief appearance, and Ryder Smith displayed true grit by closing out the final frames to seal the team win.

#12 Dixie (2) vs. Box Elder (1)

The Dixie Varsity Flyers relied on a masterclass in efficiency to secure a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Box Elder in a game where neither side would give an inch. The charge for the Flyers was spearheaded by Jordan Andreas, who was absolutely untouchable on the mound, throwing a complete-game three-hitter with five strikeouts and zero earned runs to earn the win. Box Elder showed incredible heart behind a legendary performance from Bosten Steacie, who pitched a rare no-hitter through six innings, striking out eleven batters in a valiant effort. Despite the lack of hits, Dixie displayed great situational awareness and grit, capitalizing on hit batsmen and walks to cross the plate twice, with Dawson Bolander and Louie Franco each driving in a run. Korbin Jeppesen led the way for the Box Elder offense with two hits, but the Flyers' defense remained composed under pressure to seal the narrow team win in a classic defensive showcase.
