NOTABLE RECAPS FROM TUESDAY

Park City (1) vs. Union (5)
Union utilized a dominant pitching performance and timely extra-base hits to secure a 5–1 victory over Park City. The offensive effort was spearheaded by Marx and Watahomigie, who both doubled and combined for five total bases, with Marx driving in a crucial three runs. On the mound, Union’s trio of Oakey, Cy Birchell, and Watahomigie were nearly untouchable, combining to strike out 11 batters while surrendering just one earned run on four hits over seven innings. Park City struggled to find an offensive rhythm despite a multi-hit day from Joey Breza and several stolen bases, as early pitching struggles from the Miners—who walked four in under two innings—put themselves in a hole they couldn't climb out of.

#17 Herriman (2) vs. #8 Corner Canyon (6)
Corner Canyon relied on efficient pitching and timely hitting to secure a 6–2 victory over the Herriman Varsity Mustangs. The Chargers' offense was paced by Eure and Brady, who combined for four hits, while Mackay provided a crucial spark with two RBIs. On the mound, Bodily earned the win with four solid innings of three-hit ball before Carson Poulsen locked things down in relief, striking out four over the final three frames. Despite a gritty effort from Herriman’s Easton Webb, who reached base twice and scored a run, the Mustangs were hamstrung by three defensive errors and a lack of late-inning baserunners, ultimately falling short against a disciplined Corner Canyon squad.

Sky View (3) vs. Copper Hills (4)
The Copper Hills Varsity Grizzlies rode a historic individual performance to a 4–3 victory over Sky View, powered by Kooper Beebe, who dominated both on the mound and at the plate. Beebe launched two home runs to account for three of the Grizzlies' four RBIs while simultaneously stifling Sky View’s hitters, allowing only one hit and zero earned runs while striking out six over six innings of work. Sky View managed to stay within striking distance by drawing seven walks and capitalizing on three Copper Hills errors, but their offense struggled to find a rhythm, finishing the day with just two hits. Despite a late push that saw Sky View's #25 connect for a double and #7 score twice, the Grizzlies' pitching staff held firm to preserve the narrow win.
