On Saturday, Feburary 15, Prep Baseball Iowa held its Preseason ID - Central Iowa at the Sportsplex West in Waukee. The event featured prospects from the class of 2026 through 2029. The event featured many solid performances from the players in attendance showing off their off-season gains.

Shows a bat path built to lift with backspin, producing gap-to-gap carry. Adequate speed supports his infield range and overall base running ability.

David Gonzalez Santos C / 3B / Storm Lake High School, IA / 2026 Strong-armed catcher with a durable frame suited for everyday work behind the plate. Produces a loud barrel in BP with pull-side pop. Shows quick bat speed and clean acceleration through the zone.
