Basic Academy 6, Faith Lutheran 0
Basic Academy put on a pitching clinic Thursday night, blanking Faith Lutheran 6-0. The story of the game was the Wolves' ability to miss bats; their pitching staff combined for a staggering 15 strikeouts while surrendering only one hit over seven innings.
While Faith Lutheran's defense remained perfect with zero errors, their offense struggled to find traction against the elite velocity and command from the Basic staff. Basic capitalized on their opportunities, using a mix of seven hits and six walks to manufacture runs in a steady, methodical victory.

Palo Verde 4, Shadow Ridge 2 (8 Innings)
Palo Verde outlasted Shadow Ridge in an 8-inning battle, securing a gritty 4-2 victory. The Panthers relied on a relentless offensive attack, out-hitting the Mustangs 12 to 5. While Shadow Ridge’s pitching staff racked up 10 strikeouts to keep the game tight, Palo Verde's late-inning execution and a stellar relief appearance from P. Conley-Cimini proved to be the difference.
Defensively, Palo Verde overcame two errors by leaning on their pitching. Shadow Ridge fought hard behind a gritty performance from Skyler Fife, but the Panthers' depth at the plate eventually wore them down in the extra frame.

Bishop Gorman 7, Liberty 2
Bishop Gorman overcame an early deficit to secure a 7-2 victory over Liberty, powered by dominant pitching and an aggressive performance on the base paths. After trailing 2-0 early, the Gaels roared back with a two-run double by Justin Rodrigues in the third and took the lead for good in the fourth. Logan Grubbs extended the lead in the 5th with a no-doubt shot to rightfield.
Hudson Ciulla led the way from the mound, racking up 11 strikeouts over five innings to stifle the Liberty offense. Gorman's hitters showed excellent discipline, drawing six walks, while their speed accounting for five stolen bases to keep the pressure on throughout the game.

Arbor View 4, Bishop Manogue 3
Arbor View held off a late push from Bishop Manogue to secure a 4-3 win. The Aggies struck early with runs in both the first and second innings, eventually building a 4-1 lead by the top of the sixth. Bishop Manogue rallied for two runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull within one, but the Arbor View staff held firm to preserve the victory.
Despite the loss, Manogue’s Keenan Dolan had a perfect day at the plate, going 4-for-4 with 3 RBIs. The Aggies countered with a balanced offensive attack, totaling eight hits and benefiting from a key double play to stymie Manogue's momentum.
