RHP Tyson Resch and 3B Cade Kosnick drove in two runs apiece to anchor the run production for the Phoenix. Trailing 5-4 entering the bottom of the fourth, Kewaskum took complete control with a massive eight-run surge, highlighted by a two-run double from RF Alex Jacobson and a two-run double by 3B Carter Unger. Unger reached base safely in all four of his plate appearances to finish with three RBIs and two runs scored, while Jacobson and C Kyle Haim also drove in three runs apiece to anchor the explosive offensive attack. CF Kingston Grisolono served as a catalyst for the Indians, going 2-for-3 with three runs scored and a pair of stolen bases. Starter Landon Zak earned the victory on the mound, racking up nine strikeouts over four innings while yielding zero earned runs, before Landon Scheel tossed a perfect, hitless fifth inning in relief to seal the win. 3B/SS Ryan Stephen and 2B Jacob Nettekoven each drove in a run during a five-run second inning to highlight the offensive production for Sheboygan South in the defeat.

Reliever Drew Magnuson followed with two perfect, hitless innings of his own with three strikeouts to complete the combined no-hitter in the defeat. C Miles Hunter provided the bulk of the offensive production for Notre Dame Academy, finishing 2-for-3 with an RBI double.
