Thompson edged Tuscaloosa County 1-0 on Tuesday in a tightly contested pitcher’s duel, breaking through late to secure the win. Both staffs were dominant throughout, combining for 21 strikeouts in the game. The lone run came in the sixth inning when Cooper Fuller delivered an RBI single to give the Warriors the lead. Prattville (2) vs. Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa (1)
Prattville defeated Hillcrest 2-1 on Tuesday in a tightly contested game, using early runs and strong pitching to hold on for the win. Briarwood began chipping away with a solo home run from Brooks Allred in the third and a two-run shot from Jamison Barnes in the fifth.
