By: Max Semler
North Texas Scouting Director

Josiah Rojas | 1B | The Colony | 2026 | Cisco College Commit
LHH showing quality hit approach, K zone recognition present. Gets swing off with solid contact off barrel, power present to pull side. Hit over power long term. Defensively steady defender at 1st, shows ability to dig throws out of dirt.

Santiago Pereira | SS | The Colony | 2026 | Western Texas Commit
Athletic, 5’11 175lb middle infielder, plus run/quickness present. Shows actions on the infield, body control and agility present. Aggressive hitter, hit over power. Player to watch develop over the next couple of years.

Cole Flashnick | SS | Highland Park | 2027 | Arkansas Commit
LHH middle infielder. 6’0 180, looks great physically with plenty of room to add strength in future. Steady defender on the infield, makes plays. Not flashy, sure handed showing actions. Solid hit approach, bat speed/strength has improved over past year. Feel to hit present. Will hit.

McKinney North vs Denison

By: Max Semler
North Texas Scouting Director

Talon Pate | MIF | McKinney North | 2028 | Uncommitted
Athletic, plus runner with quickness present. Defensively has foot quickness, range with actions. Makes plays on the move. Solid hit approach, location and pitch recognition present, battles, 2 strike approach present. Willing to take what pitcher is giving him. Surprising power.

Epsicopal School of Dallas vs Ft Worth Country Day

By: Max Semler
North Texas Scouting Director

Nate May | INF | Episcopal School of Dallas | 2028 | Uncommitted
LHH Inf 6’0 170 great build/frame for future strength. Aggressive hit approach showing line drive contact. Power will develop. Plus runner, has run 6.78 60. Defensively has developing actions. Infielder with hit ability.

Kingwood Park vs Crosby

By: Kyle Kilgo
South Texas Area Scout

Finn Stevens | RHP | Kingwood Park | 2028 | Uncommitted
With a FB that sat 87-90 with solid movement, Stevens went 7 IP allowing only 2 runs and 6 K’s. CB was 73-75 with good depth. Mixed in a 78-79 mph SL and 78-80 CH. He continued to get better as the game went on. Big up and comer with a ton of upside.

Hank Barrientes | RHP | Crosby | 2026 | San Jacinto Commit
Barrientes had a dominant outing this week on the mound going 5.2 IP with 0 runs and 8 K’s. FB sat 87-90 and T91. Two seam FB 84-86, SL 80-82, and CB 74-77. Quality mix and change of speeds while working the FB to both sides of the plate. Shows pitch ability with a strong arm and a competitive mentality.

Parker Chapman | INF | Crosby | 2027 | ETBU Commit
Chapman shows some strength and bat speed at the plate with some versatility on defense. Hit a 2 run bomb this week to help Crosby win a nail biter 2-1. Good get for ETBU who is known to have a dynamic offense.

Kyle Fiedler | RHP | Crosby | 2026 | Uncommitted
Fiedler comes out of the pen, in a 1 run game with the bases loaded, and slams the door for Crosby. Finishes the 7th inning with 3 up/ 3 down and 2 K’s. I really liked his composure on the mound in tough situations. SL is his best pitch and allows FB to play up. Good sweeping action with some late bite.

Katy Taylor vs Katy

By: Kyle Kilgo
South Texas Area Scout

Cole Holsomback | OF | Katy Taylor | 2026 | Uncommitted
Holsomback has one of those smooth lefty swings that works easy and finds barrel. He hits every time we see him, and it does not matter who is on the mound. Doubles style hitter that can work inside the baseball. Will be a good pickup for the right program.

Adriel Rivera | C | Katy | 2028 | Uncommitted
Rivera is one of the topped ranked catchers in his class for a reason. He’s really solid behind the dish with his receiving and throwing. Seems to handle his pitching staff well and the motor always runs. By the way, he has a chance to be a really good hitter at the next level.

Jayden Stewart | RHP | Katy | 2026 | Houston Commit
Stewart was electric, on the mound, this week with 5 IP/ 0 ER/ 1 H/ 0 BB/ 9 K’s. FB sat 88-91 and T92. SL tunnels well off the FB and gets a ton of swing and miss. Mixes in a CH to lefties as well. Commanded all three pitches and has an abundance of projectability. Solid get for the Cougars.

Cannon Karnuth | INF | Katy | 2028 | Uncommitted
Karnuth is a switch hitting INF’r that has the ability to play any position on the dirt. I really like his actions defensively, and the arm works from any angle. He went big fly from the left side helping propel the Tigers to another win. I really like this player’s future.

Ashten Ballew | SS | Katy | 2026 | Uncommitted
Ballew had a multi hit game this week and played a solid SS. He has quick twitch feet and hands which allow him solid adjustability on both sides of the ball. Quality player with D1 capabilities. He will not be on the market much longer.

Spring Branch Memorial vs Ridge Point

By: Kyle Kilgo
South Texas Area Scout

Chris Racey | 1B/RHP | Ridge Point | 2028 | Uncommitted
Racey is a big, strong, physical player with some hit ability. He has a short/compact stroke and typically uses the middle of the field. I watched him drive another 2B into the RCF gap and line out to the CF’r. Solid hit approach with some middle of the order type pop.

Milton Watkin | OF | Ridge Point | 2028 | Uncommitted
I really like the athleticism of Watkin. The swing is quick and he turns the barrel out well. Lots of adjustability there. Plus runner on the bases and in the OF. Robbed an extra base hit at the top of the RF wall that might have been a HR. The athleticism plays in this kid, and he will continue to mature as a player.

Bennett School vs Cornerstone Christian

By: Ben Green
Texas State Director

Clayton Crosby | OF | The Bennett School | 2026 | LSU-Eunice Commit
Crosby is a physical LHH OF that hits at the top of the lineup for the Rebels. He has taken some good swings in the looks this Spring and that did not change last week. He has some pop that comes from a short, smooth stroke that will translate when facing velo. The arm works from the OF and he showed it off by throwing a strike from RF in game 2 to cut down a run. Big things ahead for Crosby.

Judson Dowell | OF | The Bennett School | 2026 | Rice Commit
Dowell looks noticeably stronger this spring and it translates in the box. A hard line drive to LF in this look. The athleticism is present in all facets of the game as well. Strong arm from the OF, throwing out a runner at 3rd from RF. Tools that translate at the next level.

Troy Alexander | RHP | The Bennett School | 2026 | Angelina Commit
Alexander started game 2 for the Rebels on Friday. Pitched well, changing speeds effectively and throwing plenty of strikes. Avoided hard contact and let the defense work. FB was mostly 87-89 and the breaking ball was in the low 70s. Has a chance to add velo in the future with continued development.

JT Darden | OF | The Bennett School | 2026 | Oklahoma State Commit
Darden is a plus athlete that can really run. This was on display when he hit a ball to the RF track that dropped and he was standing on 3B in no time. The bat speed is impressive and he can really impact the baseball when he squares it up. Plenty of range in CF.

Harper Gates | INF/RHP | The Bennett School | 2026 | Texas A&M Commit
Gates is an all around ball player that can really swing it. Hard line drive contact with the ability to leave the yard. Can play any spot on the INF and also can really pitch. Another quality player in the heart of the Rebels order.

Noah Rodriguez | OF | Cornerstone Christian | 2026 | Midland JC Commit
Rodriguez has swung the bat well in BP at events in the past and it translated in this look. In game one, he got a 3-0 green light and hit a towering, no doubt HR. He added a sharp single in game 2 through the right side. He didn’t get a ton of pitches to hit but capitalized on the strikes he saw. Selective hitter with hard contact from the left side.

Cedar Ridge vs Round Rock

By: Ben Green
Texas State Director

Kasen Langerhans | MIF | Cedar Ridge | 2028
Langerhans is a LHH MIF with a solid swing. He hit the ball hard twice in this look, resulting in a double the other way, and a loud out (one hopper to SS that made a great play). He should continue to add strength and as he does, he will impact the ball.

Kai Rice | OF | Cedar Ridge | 2026 | Uncommitted
Rice hits out of the leadoff spot for the Raiders and is one of the leaders of the team. Takes good ABs and understands the game. We have always seen him hit in game settings and nothing changed in this look. A double to deep CF off of a high level arm. Rice can run a little bit and his speed plays up in the OF and on the bases, with good reads and high IQ.

Josh Horvath | RHP | Round Rock | 2026 | Weatherford Commit
Horvath has always shown arm talent on the hill, but the question has been about the command/control and the breaking ball, both of which have improved. Plenty of strikes, with the CB taking improved shape. The athleticism on the mound will allow him to continue to refine his arsenal and make strides at the next level.

Drew Harthcock | INF | Round Rock | 2027 | Uncommitted
Harthcock came up empty at the plate in this look but has shown the ability to swing it in front of our staff in the past. He really stood out on the dirt though, especially on an eye-opening play he made at SS going to his left. A sharp one hopper that he picked cleaning after leaving his feet, and fired across to get the runner by a full step. Clean actions and some arm strength from SS.
