Homewood (4) vs. Hoover (0)
Homewood defeated Hoover 4-0 on Wednesday behind a combined shutout from four pitchers. Collin Crump set the tone with four scoreless innings, while Levi Nickoli, Jackson Chapleau, and Ben Roberts combined to finish off the shutout. Roberts earned the win in relief, tossing a scoreless inning with two strikeouts. The Patriots broke through in the sixth inning, capitalizing on an error for two runs before adding to the lead on a sacrifice fly from James Eady and an RBI single from William Tanner. Jack Bland led the offense with two RBIs, while Tanner, Eady, and George Brockwell each recorded a hit. Hoover managed just three hits in the contest.
 
American Christian (3) vs. Hewitt-Trussville (0)
American Christian Academy defeated Hewitt-Trussville 3-0 on Wednesday behind a combined shutout from three pitchers. Drew Jackson earned the win after allowing just one hit over five scoreless innings while striking out eight. Caleb McAusland added a scoreless inning in relief, and Brandon Garth, Jr. closed it out to secure the shutout as ACA pitchers totaled 11 strikeouts. The Patriots broke through in the fifth inning when Clayton Rice drew a bases-loaded walk, and later added insurance runs to extend the lead. Hunter Elmore led the offense, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs, while ACA played clean defensively without committing an error. Jace Riggan led Hewitt-Trussville with two hits and also struck out nine on the mound in the loss.
 
Headland (3) vs. Dothan (1)
Headland defeated Dothan 3-1 on Wednesday behind a dominant outing from Casey Knowles on the mound. The right-hander struck out 11 across 6.1 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and two walks to lead the Rams. Headland’s pitching staff combined for 12 strikeouts in the victory. The Rams broke through in the fourth inning when Collin Phillips delivered an RBI single as part of a two-hit frame. Evan Money paced the offense from the leadoff spot with three hits, while Phillips, Colton Davis, and Wyatt Shelley each drove in a run. Headland also played clean defense behind its pitching staff, finishing the game without an error.
