2026 OSSAA Power 25: Week Two

Bret Schwartz
Oklahoma Scouting Director

After a week's worth of games, we take an updated look at the Power 25.  While still early in the season, this update features a few small changes due to results on the field as well as still some projection with the talent on the field.   All scores and records are from the OSSAA Rankings page or Gamechanger.

Our new number one is Tuttle, off to a 4-0 start that included a late week road win at Edmond Memorial in a highly competitive matchup. Their depth in the rotation, along with a versatile lineup, have led to early-season success as a group. Edmond Memorial comes in at 2 after an impressive opening day win at Piedmont. Newcastle comes in at 3 after a 3-1 start that included an impressive showing against Owasso. Bixby and Edmond Santa Fe round out our top 5. Bixby rebounded over the weekend after an opening day loss while Edmond Santa Fe has had contributions from arguably more parts of the roster than anyone else in the state and that depth will be a key as we move throughout the season.

Jenks makes a big jump after a pair of impressive wins, Enid and Bixby in the opening week, and concluded with a run-rule win over Bentonville West.  We have a few teams that debut in our Power 25: Heritage Hall at 20, Bishop Kelley at 24, and Mustang at 25. Each of the three teams are off to impressive starts, all undefeated, and begin district play today.
