Landon O’Reilly is another 2025 Future Gamer we saw regularly at Homefield and Creekside this past year. The lean, 6-foot, 180-pound right-hander from Blue Valley is a pitcher we’ve been following for a couple of years, and his development continues to trend upward.
Like others on our top off-speed list, O’Reilly really knows how to spin the baseball at quality velocity. At the Future Games, his slider sat 75.5–76.5 MPH, averaged 2,816 RPMs, and peaked at 2,971 RPMs. The pitch averaged -17.3 inches of horizontal movement with -1.1 inches of induced vertical break, meaning it moves more side-to-side than down and away from a right-handed hitter. As he continues to polish his arsenal, he could be in for a dominant spring.
