Brydon White RHP / C / Foothills Composite High School, AB / 2027One of the premier uncommitted arms in Western Canada, White impressed at multiple national events during 2025. A former catcher and infielder, there is plenty of athleticism in the profile which lends itself well to the mound. At the Future Games in July, White sat 86-88 with his fastball, touching 90, with ride & run characteristics on the pitch. The splitter has putaway potential when located down in the zone, and he does an excellent job of killing spin on the pitch (average 953 rpm). The slider had improved when we saw him in Toronto this past fall, with more velocity and sharper horizontal movement, so we are intrigued to check in on the development of that particular pitch. Our staff is eager to get an updated look at White after a winter of development with the Dawgs Academy.

Kade Strandquist OF / RHP / Wm E Hay Stettler Secondary Campus, AB / 2026Strandquist impressed on the preseason circuit last winter and performed in the box when we saw him early in the season. It’s an athletic 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame with some twitch. Strandquist ran a 6.83 60 yard dash with a max exit velocity of 92.7 during our looks in 2025, and was a consistent performer during the summer in Alberta. There is also plenty of upside on the mound where we had Strandquist in the low 80’s last winter, however recent videos show the right-hander in the upper 80’s touching 90. We are intrigued to check in on the development of the uncommitted senior at the Calgary Future Games Trials.

Lucas Carroll C / OF / All Saints , AB / 2027The Wildcats product showed well during our first look this past fall, both in-game and in an event setting. It’s a lean-athletic 6-foot,180 pound frame with room to add strength. Carroll was on the barrel during BP and elevated consistently to the pullside, both traits that continued to show up during gameplay. Metrically, Carroll posted an average exit velocity of 87.8 mph, topping out at 95.4 and reached a max distance of 347 ft. Behind the plate, Carroll recorded pop times between 2.04-2.18 with catcher velocities up to 75. We are eager to see the results from a winter of work for the 2027 grad out of Webber.

Jayden Kyle RHP / Arch Bishop Jordan, AB / 2026Shifting our focus to Edmonton, Jayden Kyle is an intriguing arm out of the AHP Academy. It’s a stocky 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame with present strength and some physicality in the lower half. Kyle sat 85, touching 86 during his bullpen last year at AHP scout day. The secondary pitches were still developing per that look but showed potential. We are excited to see the progression after a long winter of development from the AHP right-hander.

Logan Littler SS / 2B / Duchess Park, BC / 2027Littler, a native of Prince George, BC, is another position player we are excited to get an updated look at. It’s a proportionate 6-foot,180-pound frame with more strength and size on the way. Littler made some strides on the defensive side of the ball between our two looks in 2025, with improved footwork and arm strength on display. In the box, it’s a quiet load with some present bat speed and exit velocities we have seen reach 90.4 mph on TrackMan. Look for Littler to make some noise coming off a long winter of training in Northern BC. |
