Each week Coaches from across the state send in player notes and stats as our staff is working to name a Prep Baseball SC Player of the Week. South Carolina scouts are also compiling player notes from attended games, as well as box scores from across the state.

Below we take a look at some of the top performers from each week of the high school season. This week's SC Pitcher of the Week was from Phillipo Simmons High School, 2028 Brian Ebeling. The Player of the week was Beau Hite from Emerald High School.

Hite dominated all phases against a strong Wren team. He delivered a game tying two run home run and impacted the game defensively at shortstop.

Dillon High School
Hank Grider, Pitcher, Class of 2026
- 6 inning complete game no hitter, 11 strikeouts, 2 walks
Grider followed up his perfect game with another dominant outing. He continues to miss bats and limit base runners at a high level.
Mauldin High School
Ethan Sanchelli, 1B, Class of 2026
- 4 for 7, 1 home run, 1 double
Sanchelli produced key extra base hits during a two game sweep of T.L. Hanna.
Dorman High School
Connor Wells, LHP, Class of 2027
- 5.1 innings pitched, 3 hits allowed, 2 walks, 10 strikeouts, 0 earned runs
Wells controlled a strong lineup and produced swing and miss with his fastball and secondary mix.
Luke Thompson, CF, Class of 2026
- 4 for 8, 500 batting average, .667 on base percentage, 1 double, 1 RBI, 5 runs, 1 stolen base
Thompson added impact defense with two key catches that prevented extra base hits.
Philip Simmons High School

Ebeling dominated on the mound in a shutout win over Woodland.

Butts delivered a complete game shutout and controlled the game from start to finish.
Fountain Inn High School

Guion produced key extra base hits including a double off the Green Monster at Fluor Field and a clutch two run home run against Hillcrest.
