We will be doing the Mizuno Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Each week we go through all the box scores from throughout the week as well as look at submissions turned in by high school coaches to pick our Player of the Week.  There were numerous players with impressive weeks both at the plate and on the mound, but Will Grayson's production on both sides of the ball for Mount St. Mary makes him our Mizuno Player of the Week.

On the week, Grayson was a difference maker on both sides of the ball as part of a Rockets squad that had multiple players put up massive weeks. Grayson went 7/13 at the plate and added 8 runs, 7 RBI, 2 doubles, and added a home run. On the mound, the right hander saved his best work with a complete game, 7 innings shutout performance, allowing just 2 hits, while striking out 15. The all-around performance from Grayson puts him over the top with his ability to impact games in a variety of ways.
