Boulder City 6, Spring Valley 3
Boulder City utilized a late-inning offensive surge to pull away from Spring Valley for a 6-3 victory on Friday. The game remained a tightly contested back-and-forth affair until the bottom of the sixth, when the Eagles plated three decisive runs to secure the win. Boulder City’s bats were productive throughout, out-hitting the Grizzlies 12 to 5.
The Eagles' attack was spearheaded by senior Ethan Wagstaff, who finished 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs, and junior Gauge Rhodes, who added a solo home run. Gavin Robinson also contributed a multi-hit performance, going 3-for-4 with a double. On the mound, Wagstaff earned the win, while Robinson provided two hitless innings of relief to slam the door.
Spring Valley’s offense saw limited production, though Vincent Perrone reached base twice with two hits. The Grizzlies capitalized on early Eagles errors to stay within striking distance, but they were unable to overcome Boulder City’s relentless 12-hit barrage. K. Cushenberry took a hard-luck no-decision for Spring Valley, striking out five over four solid innings.

After a scoreless first, the Roadrunners exploded for four runs in the second and never looked back, adding insurance runs in the third and fourth to put the game out of reach. Despite committing seven defensive errors, the Roadrunners' pitching staff remained dominant, racking up 11 strikeouts and allowing zero earned runs.
The Roadrunners' offense was headlined by senior Lucas Jaggers, who finished 2-for-4 with a triple and a home run, totaling two RBIs. Ace Austin and Dominic Colarco also contributed key hits to keep the pressure on the Bengals' defense. On the mound, Briggs Barlow earned the win with a strong 5.1-inning performance, striking out seven and effectively neutralizing the Bonanza lineup.
Bonanza struggled to find its rhythm at the plate, totaling only five hits. Freshman Alex Galvez was a bright spot for the Bengals, going a perfect 2-for-2, while Jesus Rios also added a multi-hit game. Despite Lowry out-hitting the Greenwave 15 to 5, Churchill County capitalized on a four-run fifth inning and four Lowry defensive errors to secure the victory. The Buckaroos threatened late with a run in the seventh, but the Greenwave bullpen slammed the door to move to 3-2 on the season.

Jackson Storm earned the win in relief, while Bryce Niblack took the hard-luck loss for Lowry despite striking out seven over five innings of work.
