Each week, we highlight the premier performers from the all levels. Nominations are reviewed with a focus on statistical dominance and strength of schedule, particularly in high-stakes region play.

Hitter of the Week: Week 1

Cameron Davidson SS / 2B / Willow Canyon, AZ / 2026Willow Canyon’s Cameron Davison put together one of the most explosive offensive weeks in recent memory, earning Hitter of the Week honors for Week 1. The junior shortstop was a statistical outlier at the plate, going 7-for-9 to post a staggering .778 batting average. Davison’s power and versatility were on full display Thursday night against Fairfax, where he hit for the cycle and drove in six runs. He followed that performance with a two-homer game against 6A Canyon View, including a clutch game tying blast in the 5th inning. Ronan Obrien RHP / Brophy Prep, AZ / 2026Brophy junior Ronan O’Brien delivered a signature performance on the mound in Week 1, earning Pitcher of the Week honors. Facing off against the state's #1 ranked team, Casteel, O’Brien was dominant through 6.2 innings of work. He neutralized one of the most potent 6A lineups in Arizona, surrendering just four hits and a single earned run. O'Brien filled up the zone and kept his foot on the gas, fanning nine batters to lead the Broncos to a massive victory.
