2026 Power 25 Countdown: No. 12 Ravenwood Raptors

The Ravenwood High baseball program finished the 2025 season going 27-10 and getting put out by Independence in the district tournament. Going into the spring, the Raptors return 8 out of the 9 players in their lineup and two of their top arms. 

The senior class is loaded for the Raptors. One of the leading hitters returning for Ravenwood is 2026 OF Michael Holt who is a former Future Game alum and Vanderbilt commit. He will return as one of the best hitters in the state. At the plate, Michael is a left-handed hitter who shows great twitch and a potential for big power numbers. In the outfield, Michael shows off great speed and a 90 MPH arm. 2026 OF Luke Paciorek is a former Future Game alum and Air Force commit. Luke is a good size athlete standing at 6’2 200 lbs and will return to the middle of the lineup. With a rare combination of speed with a 6.7 60 and a 100 MPH exit velocity, Luke has a very high ceiling that he has just begun to tap into. 2026 C Wyatt Severance is a former Future Game alum and an ETSU commit. Wyatt is another player with unique skills that has legit speed and power at the catcher position. Behind the plate, Wyatt has a cannon that makes it impossible for teams to run on. 2026 INF’s Pierceson and Emerson Ross will be middle of the order guys that will man the corners for Ravenwood. The Ross twins came up huge for the Raptors in 2025 with big RBI’s in crucial situations. 2026 John Hopkins commit INF Luca Tarantino will also make contributions in his senior year coming in as a defensive specialist and a good contact hitter. 

In the junior class, Colton Karkau and Jack Lauer will return to big roles. 2027 C/RHP Colton Karkau will be one of the top of the rotation arms along with an important bat in the lineup. Colton has legit power and speed with the ability to play anywhere on the field. 2027 1B/RHP Jack Lauer will also be in the rotation and a middle of the order bat. On the mound, Jack shows a mid-80’s fastball and a high spin rate curveball that creates good swing and miss. 

In the sophomore class, Brett Paciorek and Jonah Saken return to create a special duo in the middle infield. 2028 MIF/BHP Brett Paciorek is the #1 player in the state of Tennessee and will be the starting shortstop and top of the order hitter. In 2025, Brett earned district player of the year honors as a freshman. On defense, Brett has the chance to be one of the best shortstops in the country with advanced actions and a strong arm. At the plate, Brett is a switch hitter and a high average guy with power potential in his future. He will also be an important pitcher in the rotation with the ability to throw with both arms. 2028 MIF Jonah Saken is another defensive wizard in the infield with the ability to play both shortstop and second base with advanced actions. At

the plate, Jonah is an on base machine and has good barrel control that allows him to be a prototypical top of the order guy. 

Ravenwood returns one of the most talented teams in the state with both pitching depth and a dynamic lineup. If the Raptors can get hot down the stretch, they can make a real run in May and get to Murfreesboro.
