2026 RHP Brady Gunn, Patrick Henry - Uncommitted 

Gunn continued his dominant spring with another strong outing, tossing 5 scoreless innings while allowing just 2 hits, striking out 5, and walking 1 on 69 pitches (43 strikes). The uncommitted senior has now logged 23 innings without allowing an earned run in 2026, which is a strong follow-up from 2025, where he posted a 7-2 record with an ERA of 2.44. He’s showing a level of consistency when he takes the mound right now, and it’s giving the Patriots a great chance to win each time he is out there. He worked 86-89 mph, touching 92 (2x), and did an excellent job mixing his full arsenal to keep hitters off balance. The curveball (71-75) showed multiple shapes and flashed sharp bite, while the changeup (73-75) was used effectively in a variety of counts. Gunn showed a strong feel for sequencing, often pairing the fastball with the curveball on the inner half to right-handed hitters, creating deception and generating swings and misses. The key to his success has been his ability to command the baseball and trust all three pitches. His strike-throwing has been consistent all spring, reflected in an impressive 34-to-4 strikeout-to-walk ratio, and he looks increasingly comfortable leaning on his secondary offerings to enhance the effectiveness of his fastball. With the way he’s locating and mixing speeds, Gunn continues to prove he’s one of the steadier and more reliable uncommitted arms in the region.
