Liberty (#11) (13) vs. Boulder Creek (11)
Liberty stormed back from an 11-5 deficit and erupted for eight runs in the fifth inning to outlast Boulder Creek in one of the wildest games of the day. The Lions offense kept applying pressure with quality at bats and timely contact throughout the lineup. Boulder Creek had its own offense rolling behind Baker and Nicolosi, but Liberty’s late surge proved to be the difference in a 13-11 win.

Notre Dame Prep (#17) (6) vs. Chaparral (#20) (5)
Notre Dame Prep let a five run lead slip away before answering in extra innings with a walk off 6-5 win over Chaparral. The Saints did most of their early damage in the first two innings, then leaned on Swayda to settle the game late before Townes delivered the game winner in the eighth. Chaparral’s five run fifth inning made this one a battle, but Notre Dame Prep found the last swing it needed.

Queen Creek picked up another strong ranked win, taking down Williams Field 5-2 on the road behind a complete effort from Tyke Daniels. The Bulldogs broke the game open in the fifth with Daniels, Gomez, and Pratt all delivering run producing swings, then Daniels added insurance with a solo homer in the seventh. Williams Field scratched across two runs and got a solid outing from Abel, but Queen Creek controlled the key moments late.
