We will be doing the Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Monday night.

Each week, we meticulously review box scores and submissions from high school coaches to select our Player of the Week. The second week of action featured several standout performances, but one player rose above the rest.

After analyzing tons of great performances and submissions, LHP/OF Clayton Ballard (Beebe HS, 2027) earns our Week Five Player of the Week honors. 

Ballard had a masterful performance on the mound against a top 5 opponent as he threw a complete game No-Hitter! Across 7 innings of work on the mound, the lefty picked up 17 punchouts allowing just 1 walk as the only baserunner in the game. At the plate he picked up 1 hit and walked 3 times while also scoring a run in his teams win against Sylvan Hills.
