+ NORTH DELTA VS ROSSVILLE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

North Delta picked up a 9-5 win over Rossville Christian on Tuesday, using a big sixth inning to pull away. After Rossville tied the game in the fourth, North Delta regained the lead in the fifth and then broke it open with a five-run sixth highlighted by Ware’s two-run double. Ware led the offense with two hits and three RBIs, while Carpenter went the distance on the mound, striking out nine over seven innings. North Delta also showed patience at the plate with seven walks and added pressure on the bases with five stolen bases to secure the win.

+ LEWISBURG VS TUPELO

Tupelo outlasted Lewisburg 9-7 on Tuesday behind a big offensive performance from Wilson, who homered twice and drove in three runs. The Golden Wave jumped out to a 9-2 lead through three innings, fueled by multiple long balls and an 11-hit attack. Lewisburg battled back after trailing by seven, cutting into the deficit late, but Tupelo held on. Wilson also earned the win on the mound, while Hardin secured the save to close it out.

+ POPLARVILLE VS COLUMBIA

Poplarville picked up a 7-3 win over Columbia on Tuesday, using a big sixth inning to take control. After trailing 3-1, the Hornets erupted for five runs in the sixth, highlighted by Jones’ two-run single as part of a perfect 3-for-3 day. Smith earned the win with 4.1 scoreless innings in relief, while Poplarville totaled nine hits in the victory.

+ ST. STANISLAUS VS WEST MARION

West Marion picked up a 3-0 win over St. Stanislaus on Tuesday behind a dominant outing from Stringer, who was electric on the mound with a complete-game one-hit shutout, striking out 15 and walking none. In a strong pitching matchup, West Marion broke through in the third inning and added just enough offense to support the effort. Stringer and Sumrall each collected two hits, while Gay and Crawford drove in runs to back the standout performance.

+ GRENADA VS CENTER HILL

Center Hill held off a late push from Grenada to secure a 7-5 win on Tuesday after building a five-run lead in the sixth. Grenada struck first, but Center Hill answered with a three-run fourth and added insurance late before Palmer’s three-run homer in the seventh made things interesting. Hughes earned the win with six innings of work and six strikeouts, while Moua led the offense with two RBIs. Hannah and Doss each collected two hits, and Center Hill did just enough to withstand a big day from Palmer, who went 4-for-4 with five RBIs in the loss.
