By: Max Semler
North Texas Scouting Director

Zorian “Zo” Palmore | OF | Euless Trinity | 2026 | Uncommitted
Athletic, explosive with now strength. Plus runner 6.69 60. Shows range in OF. Bat speed present with ability to impact baseball. QB in football, has never concentrated fully on baseball. Upside.

Rylan Alaniz | 2B/OF | Euless Trinity | 2026 | Texas State Commit
Athleticism with strength. Defensive versatility present, will settle at 2nd base, but, can play all over the diamond. Quality hit approach with ability barrel baseball, can leave to pull side. Plays hard, great makeup.

Camden Dean | LHP/CF | Southlake Carroll | 2028 | Uncommitted
Great build/frame to add strength. Repeats delivery and arm action. FB 83-86 this outing, earlier in the year up to 91. I have seen touch 90. SL 73-74 varies action. Strike thrower showing feel to pitch.

Weatherford vs Mansfield Legacy

By: Max Semler
North Texas Scouting Director

Jett Vindiola | C | Weatherford | 2026 | Kansas State Commit
6’3 205 physically has great frame and build to add strength. Solid receiver behind plate showing solid pop times between innings. Was not challenged in game. Solid hit approach, battles at plate. Hit over power, projecting power to develop. Athleticism present, has run a 6.88 60. Will run 4.2 to 4.3 down line. Great sign for K State.

Carson Cox | C | Mansfield Legacy | 2026 | Navarro Commit
Will add strength to solid build. Moves well behind the plate, solid receiver with shows raw arm strength. Solid approach, gets in position to hit, didn’t miss pitches with hard contact off barrel, including HR to LCF and double.
Great sign for Navarro, will continue to improve.

Landon Carlisle | RHP | Weatherford | 2026 | Grayson Commit
Will add strength to build and frame. Repeats delivery and arm action. Strike thrower, ability to get swing and miss with stuff. 6.1 IP with 14 K’s. FB 86-88, SL 77-79 with avg action.
Looking for velocity to increase as he adds strength and physical maturity.

Gunter vs Van Alstyne

By: Max Semler
North Texas Scouting Director

Tristan Barton | 3B | Gunter | 2029
6’3 205 Great build/frame. Projects physically. Athleticism present. Moves well defensively with developing actions. Will have at least avg arm in future, if not better. Impacts baseball showing power to pull side. Tools present to develop. One to watch.

Rouse vs Liberty Hill

By: Ben Green
Texas State Director

Brody Sharp | C | Rouse | 2028
The young backstop looked the part last week. Receives well behind the dish, winning pitches on the edges. The arm wasn’t tested but solid throws between innings around 2.00 and have seen strong, accurate throws in the past. Solid day at the plate as well, a single and a home run from the RHH. The swing plays, and will continue to add bat speed. Exciting player to watch continue to develop.

Adolfo Erives | 2B | Rouse | 2027 | Uncommitted
I first saw Erives last year, as a sophomore in the Rouse lineup. The smooth LH swing caught my attention, with consistent line drive contact. This year, in a few more looks, Erives is still hitting line drives, just now a little harder. Confident, quiet approach in the box with a barrel that stays in the zone for a long time. He had 2 double, a triple and 6 RBIs in this look.

Liam Mongold | OF | Rouse | 2028
Mongold was hitting out of the leadoff spot in this look and set the tone early for the Raiders. A hard hit single to the pull side out of the gates. He added another RBI 1B later in the game. Mongold played CF and looked the part, getting good reads and showing some range. The young OF has been a big contributor so far on the solid Rouse team.

La Joya vs San Benito

By: Kyle Kilgo
South Texas Area Scout

Gael Zambrano | SS | La Joya | 2028 | Uncommitted
Zambrano shows some strength and physicality for his age group. He’s not your typical small statured SS. Shows some mobility and range UTM and could easily play any position in the INF. I like the projectability with the bat. Has a chance to hit for some pop.

Matt Ortiz | OF | La Joya | 2026 | UTRGV Commit
The LHH OF shows a smooth swing on the left side. Short and effortless, Ortiz can go line to line and split gaps. True doubles pop. Rangy defender in the OF with a solid arm. Good pickup for Coach Matlock and his staff.

Sharyland vs Sharyland Pioneer

By: Kyle Kilgo
South Texas Area Scout

Gio Rodriguez | RHP/3B | Sharyland Pioneer | 2029
Rodriguez is one of the better 2029’s I’ve come across so far. Arm strength is present and consistently throws 86-87 on the bump. The cutter and CB both are effective and show upside. Gio is an athletic player with speed and quickness as well. Potential to be a real 2 way player at the next level.

Sean Lara | CF | Sharyland Pioneer | 2026 | Cisco Commit
I really like the way Lara uses his hands at the plate. Can turn the barrel out well and has some bat/ball skill from the left side. He will continue to add strength and size, making him that much more of a threat at the plate. Good get for the Wranglers.

Luis Cienfuegos | C | Sharyland | 2026 | Cisco Commit
We got a good look at Cienfuegos at Scout Day this fall. He is a solid catch and throw guy. It’s a quick release with a strong arm. Moves well behind the plate and does a good job handling his staff. G2G style hitter and will definitely add more size and strength next year at Cisco.

Sergio Ibarra | RHP | Sharyland | 2026 | Uncommitted
Ibarra is a strike throwing machine with 3 pitches; a FB, SL and SPL. His FB sits 87-89 and can get up to 91-92. The SL is 75-77 and SPL 79-80. There is good life on FB with more in the tank. The secondary stuff is effective at the HS level. He will have to continue to sharpen the SL for the next level. This should not be a tough task considering the velo is there and the spin is solid.

McAllen Memorial vs PSJA North

By: Kyle Kilgo
South Texas Area Scout

Sebastian Soto | 3B | McAllen Memorial | 2026 | Uncommitted
Soto hits cleanup and plays 3B for McAllen Memorial. There is some strength to his bat with an UTM type approach. He is a doubles style hitter with some projectable pop at the next level. I see him as a 3B, 2B or 1B guy at the college level. Decent arm strength, but could continue to develop. Definitely has a chance to help out the right program next year.

Dyllan Cortez | 3B | PSJA North | 2027 | Uncommitted
Cortez has a short compact stroke with an UTM approach. Shows some physicality on the diamond. He put together QAB after QAB. Drove in several runs and was on the barrel all day. I expect he will continue to mature and progress throughout the next year.

David Guajardo | OF | PSJA North | 2027 | Uncommitted
I really like the athleticism of Guajardo. Physical frame with some now strength. At the plate he has quick hands and some pull side pop. Watched him smash a HR to LF. Moves well in the OF with a solid arm. There is a ton of upside and projectability to his game.

Brownsville Veterans Memorial vs La Joya Palmview

By: Kyle Kilgo
South Texas Area Scout

Sebastian Vela | C | Brownsville Veterans Memorial | 2026 | Uncommitted
Vela hits 4 hole and does most of the catching for Brownsville Vets. Put together a multi hit game including a 2 strike knock the other way. LHH that can shoot the ball the other way and shorten up the swing with 2K when he needs to. Solid receiver behind the dish. Quickness over raw arm strength behind the plate.

Benji Avalos | OF | Brownsville Veterans Memorial | 2027 | Uncommitted
Avalos is a quick-twitched player with some athleticism. I like the way he moves and the upside he has. Put together several base hits including a drag bunt that showcased his speed. He also has the ability to drive balls through the gap. Played CF for Vets and did a nice job tracking balls down out there. Projects well.

Osi Lopez | C/SS | La Joya Palmview | 2028 | Uncommitted
Lopez is a versatile defender who can play multiple positions on the diamond. I’ve seen him at C, 3B, SS and P and really like him behind the plate. Shows a strong arm with a quick release. Sneaky juice at the plate with a short compact stroke. Good player.

Joseph Martinez | CF | La Joya Palmview | 2026 | Uncommitted
Martinez was an exciting player to watch as he went 2-3 with a double and HR. 3 RBI’s on the day. He obviously has some pop to the stick and played well in the OF. Will be a good get for the right program next year.

Diego Martinez | 1B | Brownsville Veterans Memorial | 2029 | Uncommitted
Here is a solid up and coming player in the ‘29 class. Shows a solid build/frame with plenty of upside. Will continue to add strength with maturity. He put together several base hits and moved well around the bag at 1B. Good player to watch over the next few years.

Tomball vs Magnolia West

By: Kyle Kilgo
South Texas Area Scout

CJ Sampson | CF/RHP | Tomball | 2026 | Texas A&M Commit
Sampson has been impressive every time I see him. There is no denying his talent level at the plate, in the field or on the mound. What really puts him into another category, for me, is how he goes about his business. He puts his nose down and competes everyday. There’s something to be said for an athlete that always hustles. I tip my cap.

Nolan Rush | INF | Tomball | 2028 | Uncommitted
Rush has a solid lefty stroke with some bat/ball skill. Ball tends to jump off his bat and can handle the bat. Very versatile defender who is always making plays. He still has some maturing to do but it’s obvious he’s a coach’s kid. Has some savvy and is always trying to do the right things.

Blake Edling | LHP | Tomball | 2027 | Uncommitted
Edling competed on the mound for 4 IP and 5 K’s this past week. Projectable frame with some arm strength; pitching from a ¾ slot. 3 pitch mix with the ability to pitch inside to RHH and LHH. Lots of upside here with plenty more velo in the tank.

Colton Igal | RHP | Tomball | 2027 | Uncommitted
Igal has a big frame with big upside. Sat 87-89 this week and T90. SL sat 75-77. The FB really plays up. With 3 IP/ 5 K’s/ 1 H/ 1 BB, he dominated a strong offensive club. The FB really plays up with movement and deception. He gets a ton of swing and miss with it. SL is a solid pitch, just doesn’t always have to use it. Fun to watch.

Cole Meredith | 3B | Magnolia West | 2026 | Uncommitted
Meredith is a solid looking player that has some versatility on the INF. I liked him moving around at 3B and has plenty of arm to play on the left side. A true G2G hitter with double pop. The swing is short, quick and stays through the middle of the field. He will be a good recruit for the right program.

Lukas Huff | 3B/RHP | Magnolia West | 2026 | McLennan CC Commit
I like the potential Huff brings to the table. Has some tools in his arsenal like arm strength, mobility and juice at the plate. Crushed a 2 run HR over the LCF wall that was a no-doubter. Solid get for the Highlanders next year.

Jude Huff | LHP | Magnolia West | 2028 | Uncommitted
Huff is a very intriguing left handed arm for the ‘28 class. Lean and lanky frame that will fill out down the road. FB sat 86-88 and T90. CB sat 74-76 with some depth, and CH sat 78-79. Nothing he threw up there was straight. Everything has movement. He came out of the pen in a close ball game with multiple runners on base. Pitched aggressively and didn’t mind throwing inside. Good demeanor on the mound. Excited to watch him progress.
