2026 OSSAA Player of the Week: Week Two

We will be doing the Mizuno Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Each week we go through all the box scores from throughout the week as well as look at submissions turned in by high school coaches to pick our Player of the Week.  There were numerous players with impressive weeks both at the plate and on the mound, but Kaden Longman's production at the plate paired with his outing on the bump makes him our Mizuno Player of the Week.

On the week, Longman was a massive part of the Racers undefeated week that saw him go 8/14 with 4 HR, 3 Doubles, and 14 RBI. On the mound, the right hander fired 5 innings, allowed just 1 hit, and punched out 15. We have seen Longman up to 94 mph paired with a wipeout SL so it comes as no surprise to see the success he had this week.
