NJ Rankings Update: Class of 2026

We recently concluded another comprehensive preseason showcase circuit across the Garden State, and the Class of 2026 continued to affirm its status as one of the most competitive and well‑rounded groups in the country. Entering a pivotal stage in their high school careers, this group has further solidified New Jersey's reputation for producing high‑caliber talent.

The top of the board remains anchored by established names, with some shake ups since our last update. Weingartener grabs the top slot after a jaw dropping performance at the Super 60 in early February, where he shattered the 60 yard dash record and was among the top statistical performers in multiple other metrics. Amalbert and Loggie round out the top 3 of true draft potentials with Lynam, Gilligan, and Hunter Brown not far behind.

As the Class of 2026 enters its final high school season, this group steps into a pivotal stretch of its baseball journey. With college commitments solidifying and roles expanding at the varsity level, this spring represents the last opportunity for these prospects to make their mark before transitioning to the next stage of their careers. The experience, maturity, and competitive edge they’ve developed over the past three years are now on full display as they prepare for one final run.
