Baton Rouge, LA - Prep Baseball Texas & Prep Baseball Louisiana are excited for the second annual Texas/Louisiana Super Sophomore Games that will be held this weekend, August 15-16, 2026, at Louisiana State University.  This invite-only event will see the top rising 2029 prospects in Texas and Louisiana go to battle, and will serve as the first identification opportunity for the 2027 State Games, Top Prospect Games, and the Prep Baseball Future Games.  Both Texas and Louisiana will go through a full workout and play two games each over the weekend.  Below, we provide the full schedule with the breakdown of each roster and more.  Be sure to follow us, across all of our social media platforms, as we'll be bringing non-stop coverage over the weekend of the 2026 Texas/Louisiana Super Sophomore Games!

-Position Player/Two-Way Player Check In: 8:15-9:00 AM (Pitcher-Only's may check in 1 hour before their scheduled game)

-Introduction & Stretch: 9:00-9:30 AM

-60 Yard Dash & Defensive Evaluations: 9:30-10:45 AM

-Batting Practice: 10:45 AM-12:30 PM

-Gameplay: First game starts at approximately 1:00-1:15 PM
