On June 9th, the Prep Baseball California team hosted the Orange Summer ID at Hart Park in Orange, Cal. This was an open event for classes (2026-2030), and gave our staff an ample look at the area’s top prospects.

PITCHER ANALYSIS

Edrian Chao, Palos Verdes Peninsula High (CA), 2028
Positional Profile: RHP Compact two-way with a line drive approach and polished breaking pitches.
Body: 5-7, 168-pounds. Compact frame with room to add strength.
Delivery: Slow, controlled motions with a mid-high leg kick, working down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Medium arm circle with a whippy follow through, releasing from an over the top slot.
