The West Florida Top Prospect Games took place on Tuesday, June 23, at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. The event featured players from the 2027-2029 classes participating in a pro-style workout, followed by gameplay in front of the Prep Baseball Florida Scouting Staff.

Today, we will share our scouting reports on all pitchers in attendance at the West Florida Top Prospect Games.

Pitcher Analysis

Austin Anderson LHP / LHP / Northside Christian, FL / 2028

Positional Profile: LHP/LHP
Body: 6-3, 230-pounds. Physical, durable frame with present strength. Carries himself with confidence on the mound and shows a strong, competitive presence.
Delivery: Works with a controlled, up-tempo delivery and moves well down the mound. Maintains rhythm throughout the operation while using the lower half efficiently to generate direction and momentum. Attacks hitters with a competitive, bulldog mentality.
Arm Action: LH. Long, quick arm action from a high three-quarter slot. Works freely through release with a clean, snappy finish.
FB: T85, 80-84 mph. Fastball comes out with conviction and plays well off the delivery. Commands the pitch with confidence and attacks the zone while maintaining quality tempo. T2144, 1988 average rpm.
SL: 71-72 mph. Slider shows sharp action with late tilt. Works well as a swing-and-miss offering and complements the fastball effectively. T2272, 2199 average rpm.
CH: 71-74 mph. Changeup is thrown with good arm speed and creates effective separation from the fastball. Shows developing feel and projects as a reliable secondary offering. T1535, 1483 average rpm.

Kendell Charlery OF / 1B / Bishop Verot, FL / 2028

Positional Profile: OF/1B
Body: 5-11, 181-pounds. Athletic build with good present strength. Moves well with coordinated actions and shows body control throughout the workout.
Delivery: Uses his tall, slender build to create leverage down the mound. Maintains posture well throughout the delivery and works with a controlled, repeatable operation.
Arm Action: LH. Shorter, whippy arm action with quickness through release. Creates good arm speed while maintaining control and repeatability.
FB: T83, 80-83 mph. Fastball works effectively in the zone with good command. Shows the ability to attack hitters, especially working inside to right-handed hitters, while creating angle through his delivery. T2212, 2015 average rpm.
CB: 68-69 mph. Curveball shows quality shape with depth and gives another look to change speeds and disrupt timing. T2167, 2113 average rpm.
SL: 67-70 mph. Slider shows developing shape with the ability to complement the fastball. Works to create separation and keep hitters off balance. T2287, 2283 average rpm.
CH: 77-78 mph. Changeup provides velocity separation from the fastball while maintaining arm speed. Shows the ability to locate and utilize the pitch as a secondary offering. T1420, 1368 average rpm.

Noah Coleman SS / RHP / IMG Academy, FL / 2028

Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-9, 154-pounds. Athletic build with a compact frame. Shows quick, coordinated movements and good overall athleticism on the mound.
Delivery: Athletic delivery with quick movements throughout the operation. Creates momentum down the mound while maintaining balance and direction through release.
Arm Action: RH. Shorter arm action that works quickly from an ear slot. Arm works efficiently and allows the ball to jump out of the hand with a quick, aggressive finish.
FB: T83, 80-83 mph. Fastball shows life out of the hand with the ability to challenge hitters. Creates quality carry through the zone and works effectively when located. T2207, 1902 average rpm.
SL: 70-72 mph. Slider shows developing shape with the ability to complement the fastball. Provides a different look and works to disrupt hitter timing. T1896, 1709 average rpm.
CH: 77-78 mph. Changeup shows good velocity separation while maintaining arm speed. Continues to develop feel and consistency as a secondary offering. T1380, 1190 average rpm.

Drew Collins SS / 3B / Pensacola Catholic, FL / 2028

Positional Profile: SS/3B
Body: 5-8, 185-pounds. Athletic build with a strong lower half and good overall body control. Two-way player who shows versatility with coordinated actions on both sides of the ball.
Delivery: Works with a calm tempo into an aggressive delivery. Uses his lower half effectively to create momentum and leverage while maintaining direction down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Works from a high three-quarter slot with athletic arm action. Maintains a clean operation and repeats well throughout the delivery.

Samuel Craig 3B / RHP / Villages Charter School, FL / 2028

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 5-11, 190-pounds. Athletic build with present strength and good overall body control. Shows coordinated movements and the athleticism to handle the infield with confidence.
Delivery: Works with a slow, controlled tempo and incorporates a glove tap into his sequence. Maintains rhythm throughout the delivery while creating momentum and staying athletic down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Whippy arm action with a repeatable high three-quarter slot. Maintains consistent arm slot and arm speed across his pitches, allowing for deception and pitchability.
FB: T88, 86-88 mph. Fastball shows life through the zone and comes out of a controlled delivery with intent. Attacks hitters confidently and works to generate uncomfortable at-bats. T2190, 2105 average rpm.
SL: 77-80 mph. Slider shows quality bite with sharp action. Works effectively as a swing-and-miss offering and complements the fastball well. T2410, 2328 average rpm.
CH: 81-81 mph. Changeup provides velocity separation while maintaining arm speed. Shows feel for the pitch and the ability to keep hitters off balance. T1481, 1481 average rpm.
ATH: 7.63 runner in the 60. 1.72 and 4.14 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Hayden Finke OF / RHP / Cardinal Mooney, FL / 2028

Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-10, 164-pounds. Athletic, lean build with a long, projectable frame. Two-way prospect who shows coordinated actions and good overall athleticism.
Delivery: Maintains posture well throughout the delivery while working down the mound with a repeatable operation. Continues to develop more efficient use of the lower half to maximize overall delivery.
Arm Action: RH. Long, aggressive arm action that creates good leverage through release. Works with a loose arm and generates quality arm speed.
FB: T80, 78-79 mph. Fastball shows natural arm-side movement and plays well from his long levers. Attacks the zone with confidence and creates difficult angles for hitters. T1995, 1904 average rpm.
SL: 72-72 mph. Slider shows developing shape with the ability to complement the fastball. Flashes the potential to become an effective secondary offering. T2061, 2001 average rpm.

Jaedyn Hammond OF / RHP / Tampa Catholic, FL / 2029

Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-8, 160-pounds. Athletic, compact build with a strong lower half. Moves well with controlled actions and shows good overall body control throughout the workout.
Delivery: Works with a fast-paced delivery while incorporating the lower half effectively to create momentum down the mound. Maintains direction and shows the ability to repeat the delivery.
Arm Action: RH. Long, whippy arm action that creates good arm speed through release. Maintains a clean, athletic finish.

Zachary Konrad 3B / RHP / Hagerty, FL / 2028

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 5-10, 220-pounds. Strong, physical build with present strength. Two-way prospect who shows good overall body control and flashes athleticism on both sides of the ball.
Delivery: Works with a smooth, controlled delivery featuring an exaggerated leg lift. Maintains rhythm throughout the operation and gets down the mound efficiently.
Arm Action: RH. Short, whippy arm action with good arm speed through release. Repeats the motion well and maintains a consistent release point.
FB: T85, 82-85 mph. Fastball comes out with quality life and shows the ability to attack the strike zone. Continues to develop overall consistency while working with confidence. T2184, 2092 average rpm.
SL: 70-73 mph. Slider shows developing shape with the ability to complement the fastball. Flashes effectiveness as a secondary offering with continued refinement. T2031, 1864 average rpm.

Trey Lawson LHP / 1B / Dixie County High School, FL / 2027

Positional Profile: LHP/1B
Body: 6-1, 250-pounds. Physical, durable frame with present strength. Shows a sturdy build on the mound and repeats his delivery well.
Delivery: Works with an easy, controlled tempo and a repeatable delivery. Maintains balance throughout the operation and shows the ability to consistently work around the strike zone.
Arm Action: LH. Short arm action with a clean, compact path to release. Maintains a consistent release point throughout the outing.

Julian Lopez RHP / OF / North Broward Preparatory School, FL / 2027

Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-2, 213-pounds. Physical, strong build with present strength. Two-way prospect who uses his frame well and shows athleticism across multiple facets of the game.
Delivery: Works with a fast-paced delivery and uses his physical frame well to create leverage down the mound. Maintains rhythm and direction throughout the operation.
Arm Action: RH. Short arm action from an over-the-top slot. Works efficiently through release with a repeatable operation.

Luis Marcelino OF / RHP / City of life, FL / 2028

Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-11, 174-pounds. Athletic build with good overall body control. Two-way prospect who shows coordinated actions and versatility on both sides of the ball.
Delivery: Works with a controlled tempo and incorporates a slight pause before driving down the mound. Maintains balance throughout the delivery and repeats the operation well.
Arm Action: RH. Throws from an over-the-top slot with clean, repeatable arm action. Maintains consistent mechanics throughout the outing.

Evan Pyle RHP / Steinbrenner High School, FL / 2028

Body: 5-10, 140-pounds. Long, lean frame with projection remaining. Uses his length well on the mound and continues to refine his physical development and overall efficiency.
Delivery: Creates leverage with his frame and works downhill effectively. Shows good intent moving down the mound while continuing to refine the overall delivery and sequencing.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm action that creates extension through release. Continues to develop consistency and efficiency within the arm path.
FB: T75, 73-74 mph. Fastball shows developing life and benefits from his ability to create extension and leverage. Continues to refine command and overall feel for the pitch. T2235, 2129 average rpm.

Charlie Rothbard 1B / RHP / IMG Academy, FL / 2028

Positional Profile: RHP/C
Body: 5-9, 217-pounds. Strong, compact build with present physicality. Shows good overall body control and uses his frame effectively on the mound.
Delivery: Works with a controlled delivery and consistent tempo. Shows good direction down the mound and gets into his lower half effectively to create momentum toward the plate.

Delivery: Works with conventional pitching mechanics and a controlled tempo. Repeats the delivery well while maintaining direction to the plate.

Kanin Summey 1B / LHP / Calvary Christian, FL / 2028

Positional Profile: 1B/LHP
Body: 6-3, 202-pounds. Long, lean, athletic frame with plenty of physical projection remaining. Moves well for his size and shows the actions of a quality two-way prospect.
Delivery: Works with a controlled tempo and repeats the delivery well. Maintains balance throughout while showing confidence attacking hitters.
Arm Action: LH. Whippy arm action with a clean, repeatable stroke that creates good life out of the hand.
FB: T88, 87-88 mph. Fastball shows quality life with the ability to command the strike zone. Consistently attacked hitters and generated swings and misses. T2298, 2245 average rpm.

Evan Swope SS / RHP / Calvary Christian, FL / 2028

Body: 5-10, 183-pounds. Compact, athletic build with good strength throughout. Moves well and shows the athleticism to contribute as a two-way player.
Delivery: Works with a controlled tempo and repeats the delivery well. Shows confidence attacking hitters while maintaining balance throughout the motion.

Delivery: Works with a controlled, repeatable delivery. Maintains balance throughout the motion and shows feel for sequencing while consistently working around the strike zone.
