EMERSON, GA – The 2026 Southeast Super Sophomore Games returned to LakePoint Sports this past weekend, bringing together more than 275 of the Southeast's top 2029 prospects for two days of workouts and game action. With four Team Alabama squads competing against some of the region's premier young talent, players had the opportunity to showcase their tools in front of the Prep Baseball staff while beginning to establish themselves as names to follow in the years ahead.

The following Quick Hits article highlights several standout outfielders from Team Alabama with brief scouting notes and observations gathered throughout the weekend.

Christy put together the best round of BP among the Alabama prospects in attendance and continues to show why he's one of the most highly regarded players in the state's 2029 class. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound outfielder looks the part physically with defined, proportional strength throughout the frame and a strong lower half. He utilizes an early stride for timing and stays simple to contact, where the present strength in the barrel allows him to consistently impact the baseball with authority. Christy hammered balls gap to gap throughout his round, leaving the yard to center field while posting a 102.6 mph peak exit velocity and an impressive 99.1 mph average. The impact carried into game action with quality at-bats, including an RBI double off the left-field wall. A premium athlete as well, Christy ran a 6.43-second 60-yard dash and continues to show one of the more complete collections of tools in the class.
Cox put together one of the top all-around athletic performances of the event and carried it into game action with multiple hits against quality arms. The 5-foot-9, 177-pound outfielder looks the part with premium athleticism, compact strength, and plenty of twitch throughout the frame, particularly in the lower half. He hits from a narrow setup with a lower hand set and utilizes a medium leg kick for timing before delivering the barrel with present bat speed on an uphill path, showing the ability to impact the baseball to the pull side while staying well connected. Cox posted a 95.5 mph exit velocity and ran a blazing 6.45-second 60-yard dash. He also led the entire event with a 33.8-inch vertical jump, further highlighting the high-end athleticism in the profile.
Weber asserted himself into the discussion among the upper tier of Alabama outfielders in the 2029 class with a strong showing throughout the event. The 6-foot-1, 176-pound prospect possesses a projectable frame with quality athleticism and a strong foundation to continue developing physically. At the plate, he works from a balanced, square setup with quiet actions and minimal pre-pitch movement, utilizing a short, simple stride while creating separation with the hands. Weber turns the barrel quickly on a level path with present bat speed and good control of the barrel through the zone, producing consistent up-the-middle contact during BP with a 96.4 mph exit velocity. He also ran a 6.87-second 60-yard dash and showed two-way ability by running the fastball up to 85 mph on the mound.
Dwyer showed the type of well-rounded skill set that profiles well at the top of an order and in center field long-term. The 5-foot-10, 142-pound outfielder possesses a lean, wiry frame with plenty of physical development still ahead. Offensively, he shows quality contact skills from the right side, creating space well in the swing with good extension out front while staying through the baseball and producing firm line-drive contact to all fields. The gamer qualities also showed defensively, where Dwyer covered plenty of ground in center field and made multiple difficult plays look routine during game action. He also ran a 6.78-second 60-yard dash, adding another quality tool to the profile.
