2026 Prep Baseball Scout Day Rock Hill: Trackman Pitching Leaders

The Rock Hill Scout Day took place on August 8th at Nation Ford in Fort Mill, SC.  This event was a combination of players from the Mill Town Baseball Academy and players from the surrounding area.    

The event began with A pro-style workout for all the position players followed that included the 60 yard dash, pitcher bullpens with each pitch tracked by Trackman, a defensive evaluation, and finished with BP with TrackMan ball flight analysis,

Average Effective Velocity

Effective velocity is taking into account the velocity of each pitch, its release distance, the pitches time to the plate / hitting area, and the pitches movement.  With all of this information, Effective Velocity is allowing coaches and scouts to more accurately compare how a pitch is affecting a hitter.
