DAILY GAME RECAPS: MARCH 24

Moanalua (3) vs. Kaiser (4)

Kaiser edged Moanalua, 4-3, in a tight contest, capitalizing on consistent offensive pressure throughout the lineup. Hayzen Inouye and Case Cannon each delivered multi-hit efforts with extra-base impact, while Isaac Sham added production in key spots. On the mound, Kalihau Hugo kept Kaiser in control early before Colby Taniguchi closed the door late to secure the win.

Wai'anae (4) vs. 'Aiea (8)

Aiea pulled away from Wai'anae, 8-4, using a big middle-innings surge to create separation. Goo led the way with a three-RBI performance and also contributed on the mound, giving 'Aiea a strong two-way presence. Ornellas and Chung set the table consistently at the top, combining for multiple hits and on-base opportunities, while Kamu Ohia-Pratt added timely run production. Wai'anae showed flashes offensively, highlighted by Eric Schultz’s triple and Kamakoa Grace’s impact both at the plate and on the bases.

Kahuku generated steady offensive pressure throughout and capitalized in key spots to pull away from Castle. Zennon Alo-Rosa impacted the game on both sides, while Brandon Tailele delivered the biggest blow with a three-RBI performance. Supporting production from Jonah Calimlim and DeAngelo Chun helped maintain momentum throughout.

Kailua turned in one of the more complete performances of the day, shutting out Roosevelt behind a strong effort on both sides. Kila Kato set the tone on the mound, working a complete-game shutout with six strikeouts, while Janson Kamau and Ka'alekahi Kuhaulua sparked the offense with multiple hits. Masao Minami and Kyler Woods each delivered run production as Kailua created separation early and never gave it back.

'Iolani and Damien battled to a 5-5 draw in one of the day's tighter matchups, with impact bats showing up on both sides. Judah Ota provided thunder in the lineup with a home run, while Brady Minami and Oni Dawson each drove in a pair for 'Iolani. Damien answered with a strong offensive showing of its own, led by Tryten Vicari, Kona Begonia and Sam Cezar-Kanaka'ole, who all delivered key run-producing swings to keep pace throughout.

Kamehameha Kapalama controlled the game behind quality pitching and timely run production, doing damage in key spots to separate from Pac-Five. Bronson Boucher delivered the biggest blow with a three-RBI double, while Coen Sardinha, Ryeder Takahashi and Kaleb Flores all added run-producing at-bats. On the mound, Pono Kong set the tone with five strikeouts across four innings, Kupono Barkdull worked two perfect innings, and Takahashi added to his day by striking out the side to finish it off.
