+ BIBB COUNTY (AL) VS SCIENCE HILL

Science Hill knocked off Bibb County 7-3 on Friday behind a strong offensive showing. Craft led the way with a 3-for-4 performance, including a solo home run, as the Hilltoppers erased an early deficit and took control with a three-run third inning. Gibson earned the win, allowing three runs over six innings, while Science Hill totaled nine hits and played clean defense. Vermillion added two hits, and Greer drove in a pair to support the effort. Bibb County finished with eight hits, with Watkins and Lawley collecting two each, but couldn’t keep pace after Science Hill surged ahead.

+ MCEWEN VS OLIVER SPRINGS

McEwen rallied from an early deficit to defeat Oliver Springs 7-5 on Friday. After falling behind by four runs, the Warriors flipped the game in the fifth with a six-run inning to take control. Carter and Gill each drove in two runs, while Parham led the way with two hits. McEwen showed patience at the plate with eight walks and made the most of their opportunities late. Oliver Springs collected multiple hits from Ogle and Woolum and worked seven walks, but couldn’t hold off the comeback.

+ LIPSCOMB ACADEMY VS POPE JOHN PAUL II

Lipscomb Academy rolled to a 7-2 win over Pope John Paul II on Friday behind a strong start and solid pitching. The Mustangs jumped out early with a four-run first inning, highlighted by Borders’ RBI triple, and never looked back. Dugan added a solo home run in the fifth to extend the lead. Dungan set the tone on the mound with three no-hit innings, allowing just one unearned run while striking out six. Lipscomb Academy showed patience at the plate with seven walks and steady production throughout the lineup.

+ SPARKMAN (AL) VS BLACKMAN

Blackman picked up a 4-2 win over Sparkman on Friday, using a big second inning to take control. The Blaze scored all four of their runs in the second, capitalizing on a balk, a key single from Howard, and an error. Sparkman answered with a two-run homer from Bundy in the fourth, but couldn’t close the gap. Beverage earned the win, allowing just one hit over five innings, while Hayes secured the save. Blackman totaled nine hits and played clean defense in the victory.

+ LAWRENCE COUNTY VS HARDIN COUNTY

Lawrence County picked up a 7-2 win over Hardin County on Friday behind a big late surge. After a scoreless start, the Wildcats broke through in the fifth and then put the game away with a five-run sixth inning. Emerson led the offense with a perfect 3-for-3 day and three RBIs, while Rose added two hits. Story earned the win with five scoreless innings, allowing just one hit, as Lawrence County totaled nine hits and drew seven walks in the victory.
