Blackman rallied late to cut the deficit to one, but Centennial’s pitching and defense held on to close out the win.

+ POWELL VS HERITAGE

Heritage defeated Powell 2-1 on Tuesday in a tightly contested pitcher’s duel. Heritage’s starter went six strong innings, allowing just four hits and one unearned run while striking out nine to earn the win. Offensively, Heritage capitalized on timely hits, including a first-inning double and an RBI single in the fourth that proved to be the difference in the game.
