2026 North Carolina High School Baseball Season

The 2026 North Carolina high school baseball season is underway, and Prep Baseball once again looks forward to providing the most comprehensive coverage across the state. Throughout the spring, our scouting staff will deliver daily updates through the Inside the Box, highlighting key scores, game recaps, and standout performances from every corner of North Carolina.

Programs featured in the Power 25 will remain a focal point, along with teams positioning themselves to enter the rankings. As the season progresses, this platform will serve as your daily source for scores, analysis, and insight into high school baseball across the state.

Stay Connected & Share Your Team’s Success

Coaches and teams are encouraged to submit scores and box scores to ensure complete and accurate coverage throughout the year. Prep Baseball North Carolina will also utilize GameChanger to compile daily results and performance data.

2026 Preseason Power 25

North Carolina High School Baseball Team Rankings – First Release

Prep Baseball is proud to release the first Power 25 rankings of the 2026 season, recognizing the top high school baseball programs across North Carolina entering the spring.

The preseason edition of the Power 25 is the result of extensive offseason evaluation. Our staff reviewed returning production, roster composition, program consistency, 2025 results, postseason performance, and overall roster strength. Input from coaches across the state, combined with firsthand scouting evaluations, helped shape the initial rankings.

The 2026 preseason poll reflects the depth and competitiveness of baseball throughout North Carolina, with representation from both the NCHSAA and NCISAA classifications. Several defending state champions and state finalists return key contributors, while others look to build on deep postseason runs from a year ago.

As always, the Power 25 will be updated every two weeks during the regular season to reflect on-field performance.
